Great for any child
I purchased this daily journal as I wanted a book that would help my nephew express himself better and thought I could support him with expressing it through a daily journal/writing- I think it is a great book for any child. I asked my sister for some thoughts on it (as she will be completely the book with my nephew) and she gave me the below: The introduction talks all about feelings and emotions in order to aid children understand emotions better and making them more aware. It also has a website where you can โtestโ your happiness & confidence which is a great addition that I feel all children would like. It has a bee as a character (that is supposed to represent a person but uses a bee to be more child friendly.) It has clear instructions in the introduction of how the book is supposed to be used and how you can โwrite your own story.โ It also has top tips at the bottom of the page so each page is filled with different attributes- what I will say is that although it is structured, it is not structured in a way that for example a school book is, instead itโs very laid back and allows the child to really make it their own. Each day they are able to write how they feel as well as what went well that day and what they would like to try tomorrow. Furthermore, it also has a separate page where they can โdoodle or drawโ with the bee having quotations on each page enforcing positivity. At the end of the week it has a weekly activity page, making a list of all the positive things that have happened that week and what you appreciate about yourself and others. The journal itself last for approx 10 weeks (if Iโve done my maths correctly) I feel that the majority of children would benefit from this! I would highly recommend as I feel itโs a brilliant book.

Excellent
I bought this based on a recommendation from a friend who had got one for their child and I'm so glad I bought it! My daughter has become anxious lately and she is only 5..we thought this would be a great addition to her bed time routine and now its something we all look forward to doing at the end of the day. My daughter has time to express how she has felt throughout the day and equally we can help her process her feelings too. I believe this helps get children in to a healthy mind set of being able to talk freely and openly about how they feel.

Great book
Bought for my daughter who has really enjoyed starting this. It is easy for her to follow and write how she feels without needing adult guidance, it is still interactive and gets her thinking. Would recommend for any parents who has a child with big emotions.

Good journal, seemed to help my son with his anxiety
This book is very kid friendly, older kids ideally who can read for themselves. My 10 year old son has been suffering badly with separation anxiety, i bought this journal and a few anxiety/worry books for him to read. Every morning before school he has been anxious to the point of crying, also dropping him off at his dads at the weekend has been inconsolable. He started to read his worry book last night, and filled in this journal. This morning, I dropped him off at his dads with no tears or tummy aches! It's like a miracle. :) I'm sure it's not just this journal thats helped, but I defintaly think it must have helped a bit!

Brilliantly helpful!
This little book is really helping my son to navigate his feelings and feel more positive. It's also a great record to share with others about how he is feeling as he is having school related difficulties.the space for pictures is really helpful as he uses this to go over situations that have happened or that he wishes he could do.

We purchased these for our kids, ages 10 and 12. They have been using them daily and enjoy doing the activity at bedtime. I have already purchased additional copies.
