Solid shower base if you’re looking to remodel your shower and want something that requires less maintenance I recommend this shower pan . High quality sturdy build , it has a grip bottom so you won’t slip and with no grout it’s makes its easy to clean .

this is an excellent product. You can tell by looking at the bottom of the unit and see they put extra support to prevent cracking when weight is applied. Just make sure to use plenty of morter mix for the bed. The original one I purchased was cracked on the corner of the front but they replaced it quickly and made it easy for me to return so I purchased another one as the quality was good. Installed it and am impressed with how sturdy it feels under foot. I definitely recomend this product.

Loved everything about this pan. Sturdy and stiff ,easy to level,good finish. Edges were not warped so no need to scribe bottom of panels. Came in multiple widths, we went with 34" and it a way better shower than the tub/ shower we had.

Absolutely perfect as described, size and color were true to description. Great quality, shipped with no damage, arrived ahead of schedule. Delivery truck drivers were accommodating and very friendly and easy to work with. Would definitely recommend! I had previously ordered the same item from a big box store and it never showed up. I was so happy they had the exact item and model number on Amazon. Delivered ahead of scheduled promise date!!!! My bathroom remodel was on hold because of this shower pan. Love it!!! The base itself is great. It's a fiberglass base and it does its job fantastically. However don't be like me and skip over the dimensions part, especially for the drain location. I purchased this to remodel the master shower in my master bathroom. The old builder's-style shower had the drain perfectly in the center. I naively assumed that this, advertising a center drain, would be perfectly centered in the pan as well. Upon taking it out of the package and setting it down on my shower base, I was woefully disappointed that the shower drain hole is not actually in the center. It's closer to the back of the pan than it is to the front of the pan. Upon going back into the item listing, I found that they clearly show the measurements of where the drain is. If you look closely in the picture, you can even see that it's closer to one side than the other. Just don't be like me and buy something that doesn't work because you assume center actually means perfectly center. I'm probably keeping the pan and am ripping out the drain and moving the location of the drain to match this pan rather than go through the hassle of sourcing a whole new pan.

Very strong, looks great, great price , easy to install

My elderly in-laws recently moved in with my family but the guest bath had the old fashioned stopover tubs that are dangerous for the elderly. I ripped everything out down to the studs and really didn’t want to take the extra time and effort to put in a sloped mortar base with tile. This is a way easier method of converting tubs to showers. At first I thought it would feel weird and sloped towards the drain, but standing in the shower you can’t even tell. Water only needs a slight slope to drain. Quality was great, only a minor 1” crack on the upper lip was found and it didn’t matter since that’s hidden behind the concrete board. Tip: use way more mortar to make a base than you think. I have some “hollow” spots because my bed wasn’t thick enough - lesson learned. Anyways, will absolutely use this again when I convert my kids bath to a shower when they get older and don’t want to play with mermaids and dinosaurs.

Beautiful shower pan but water drainage is not acceptable After the pan was installed and the surrounding walls were finished with tile, I found out that it did not drain water properly. There were puddles left in the pan. I called the manufacturer for information about the slope of the pan towards the drain and was told that the information was not available. I was also told that the proper way to install it was on a cement base (3/4" thick at the edges and 3/8" at the drain). To do that I had the pan removed ( after removal of the wall tiles) and reinstalled on the proper cement base. With confidence I had the drain reconnected and tiles redone. The costs of reinstalling were considerable not counting the inconvenience. After the grout cured I turned the shower on to see how it was draining. To my horror - the same drainage problem, this time the pooling was at different places on the pan. and the drainage is still very poor. I can not afford to do it over a third time with a pan of different brand. The only thing I could afford at the time was a squeeze to pull the water towards the drain after every shower! I do not know if the pan has the usual minimum required slope for proper drainage since the slope numbers are not available on the drawings and could not be furnished by the manufacturer. From the way it drains (from some parts of the pan) it definitely does not have a sufficient slope towards the drain. I have no idea what kind of precision installation it needs (if at all possible) for proper drainage but I have wasted enough money already to pursue it any more. Some day when I can afford it or get tired of using the squeeze, I will have it replaced with a pan that has descent drainage.

The product was delivered in a few days, it was packaged within a second padded shipping box & was received in perfect condition. It is a well designed quality product with a beautiful finish & looks like it will provide many years of trouble free service. I would not hesitate to purchase this shower pan again when we redo another bathroom shower. well done

I almost opted for a MAAX shower base and then stumbled on to the comments in the Home Depot website. Instead I paid a bit more (about $160 more) for this and it is rock solid. This base almost feels 'ceramic' to your feet. It's solid and doesn't have any give which I am led to believe a lot of cheaper shower bases do. It's got a great grip on the feet without feeling uncomfortable. Slick product. See photo of it installed in our new bathroom. **Note: The first Dreamline shower base Amazon shipped to use had a crack in it. But I was able to ship it back and they simply replaced it free of charge and even tried to overnight to keep the project on schedule. We got really good customer service from Amazon on this one.
