Good design, but flawed...
I find that I greatly like the design of this headset. It is a little big for me, by big I mean the ear portions themselves feel as though they stick out a good portion. I want to leave an amazing review and say I had nothing bad to state. Especially since I have not gotten a Cooler Master product that was less than satisfying. The headset for my head-size (medium sized? I didn't exactly measure my head) seems to fit snugly and fairly comfortably about my head. I noticed some minor pressure in my jaw under my ears, but it wasn't much. The ear muffs seemed to be an appropriate size to accommodate my ears as well. The material used feels sturdy enough and has a bit of weight to it. The sound quality is also quite good. I'd like to note that the sound is lower then what I am used to. What I mean by this is that with my current headset I have the volume mixer turned up all the way and the volume on the inline controls turned down about half way. I feel as if this provides me better control and easier fine tuning of what I want to hear more. - Say I am in a skype call but still want to listen to music. It works out cause I can turn one down in the volume mixer rather easily. But others may not see this as convenient. It's just how I have grown to like it. - In this case the headsets total volume was extremely low. Which is strange because the design of it should allow me to hear the sounds better or easier because its more closed off. I still ended up turning the volume up pretty far on the inline controls to hear things easier. Perhaps it was just me.With that said the flaw in this is that the mic boom (if I am using that correctly) simply does not reach anywhere near my mouth. This wouldn't be a problem if it was sensitive enough on its own to pick up my voice. When I managed to have it picking up my voice at a decent volume I sounded like a robot and could not adjust it for this particular thing. I had no settings for 'robotic voices'. I even tried restarting and switching a few things around to no avail. Since I refuse to sit here and yell into a mic and sound like a robot while doing it. This simply is not the headset for me. A disappointing realization because I have grown to like cooler master and Their Products.- I am likely returning it for something else. I sent CM an email about the issue but they only sent me one back about an eRMA. (essentially a return) I purchased it here with amazon and I'll finish it here with amazon.Pros- Feels comfortable for decent periods of time.- Made from good materials (no cheap feeling plastics or easily breakable parts)- Easily adjusted for different sizes and comforts.- Good if but low volume'd sound qualityCons- The Mic was robotic (no known fix without exchange)- It took a lot of work to make the mic sensitive enough to hear me.- The mic will pick up fans from your PC better then it will your voice. (or in my case it will)- If you don't have realtek audio manager or something similar to enable your own version of noise canceling (which helped greatly) you may be out of luck.Other thoughts: I wish CM Storm came with its own cd of drivers or software to help aide in the fine tuning process of the headset. In the least to help out with the vast variety of computers out there. Nothing will change my voice and its not likely that a newer headset of the same model will fix any issues in this regard.

An okay product...
I rate it okay because I'm being generous. This headset is very nice and comfortable and all that but the thing that got me the most was the microphone. The microphone made this headset seem like crap. I usually talk to my friends everyday using mumble or skype, and they said this makes me sound worse than my 5 dollar headset. The microphone is neither bendable or adjustable, it just simply moves down or up. If you are using a headset just to get some good frequencies when listening I highly suggest this headset, but when you want to have both sound quality and mic quality this does not fit the glove.

Meh..
Meh, is all I can say. I bought this in October and now, in the beginning of december, I wake up to find there is a huge crack down the side of the plastic holding the ear pieces in place. It worked great up until this point but I would like to see if I could get a replacement or upgrade to something with better quality headband, but their website seems to be down :( Just thought I'd let you all know that the struggle with the headband is real, and unless you're exceptionally careful with it, it will break :(

SUPER COMFORTABLE,GREAT MIC, BREAKS SO EASILY
WHILE IT WAS INTACT, the headset was incredibly comfortable and the mic sounded great, but the material looks like and is basically cheap plastic. It lasted me about 7-8 months before the plastic snapped. I also took it off carefully with both hands every time but the plastic kept snapping over time until one day, it snapped in half. It's an incredible comfy headset with a great mic with a risk of it easily breaking, if u wanna take the risk, GO FOR IT, if u want a long lasting headset I definitely don't recommend the CM Storm Ceres 400.

Just like catching a fly ball...
Just like catching a fly ball the proper way, use two hands to take it off your head, or it WILL snap. I am now using gorilla tape to keep it together. The plastic is cheap, so unless you want to break, take it off with two hands, one on each headphone. The weight of the headphones compared to the not-so-strong plastic doesn't make it hold up well. I've only had it for 2 weeks and this happened.

Eh.
I ended up returning it. The headset is light and sound good (not great). Unfortunately, the mic on the one I got was horrible. I tried everything I could to tweak it and fix it but no luck. I went back to the drawing board and I am much happier with another option I received that was in the same price range.

Sound Good. Mic Bad.
The headset is really comfortable, even worn hours at a time. The sound quality is -much- better than my speakers usually manage. But I hate talking while wearing it. Or even turning my mic on. The last mic that did this I had to have a fan pointed at it to make the buzzing noise. Amazing headset aside from the terrible mic.

Wow... Cheap junk
These headphones are not worth what they cost. Lets start here, I have a cheap pair of earforce Z1 that i got at a retail store for much less and had a horrible review. The Z1's sound is just as good as the CM storms, and they are more durible. I went to take off my CM storms and it snaped right above the sound ear cup. The Z1 cost $20 less and lasted 3x longer. Do not buy these head phones if you ever plan to take them off. The sound is nothing special and are ugly when you put them on (Far to bulky for there sound). If you want a good headset look somewhere else.

Shockingly bad
So, before buying this headset I looked at a lot of reviews and the majority of them said that this was a good headset, well I can tell you that, in my opinion, IT IS NOT! The headset feels very cheap and is uncomfortable after an hour of use. The sound quality is OK at best and the mic quality is poor.Do not buy this headset, it is a complete waste of money. I would recommend buying something a little more pricey to get the better quality because the cheapness of this shines through very much and after having this headset for only 2 months I am replacing it already.
