Great non-stick pan
Good quality non-stick frying pan. I hand wash it and my prior pan lasted for many years before things started sticking. The finish was still intact but food started sticking. I recommend this pan and hand washing it.

Worth the care you have to take
It's been just over a week and I have been using this pan every morning for breakfast. So far, it's pretty impressive. I do have some general ideas about non-stick pans in this price range: I don't expect them to last for years and years (even with the best care); I know I have to baby them a bit; I know that I cannot cook with them at very high heat. PROS: -- Right out of the packaging, the pan looks nice and sturdy. -- It seems to be a bit tougher than other nonstick pans when it comes to using and cleaning. -- It does heat up quickly. -- I was able to make good pancakes in it & my scrambled eggs just slid right out! (By the way, I noticed that the only pancakes that stuck a bit were made with batter higher in sugar content or when I hadn't cleaned the pan well.) -- I don't have the "hot handle" problem I see mentioned in other reviews. I do use the pan on a burner a tiny bit smaller than the bottom of the pan & I think that helps. -- Cleaning it is easy. All I have to do is let the pan cool first. When I am cooking something like pancakes, I can remove stray batter with a silicone spatula. I use a little soap and hot water to get all the residue out. CONS: I was immediately confused by the instructions. The front of the cardboard covers says this is safe for ovens & is "high heat resistant", but elsewhere, it's advised to use low-to-medium heat. This is why I hate the packaging. All the info is on the cardboard that the pan in tucked into. I like to save product info so this is inconvenient. -- Like with most non-stick pans, there are restrictions - ex: no EVOO; and don't heat when empty, etc. Some of these are worse than others. For instance, when fixing anything with a batter (ex: pancakes), I like to heat a pan fairly well before pouring in the batter. However, this pan heats up fast so I can pour in batter without much pre-heating. -- I don't think I will be using this to do any oil-frying because I don't want to use high heat. Also, I won't be large amounts of liquids (water) since it would be easy to let it boil to dry & damage the coating. -- Some of the things hyped about this are not really good for the pans. Says you can use metal utensils but that really isn't advised. The same thing goes for being dishwasher safe. To make the pan last as long as possible, I handwash/dry & keep a soft cloth in the pan when it's stored. Anything to keep from damaging the non-stick surface! -- Although I have a regular gas stove, the instructions for induction cooktops are pretty extensive & I don't know that I would want the extra work. -- For the best info on using, cleaning, and storing this pan, I had to go online. I wish they'd included a paper printout of info instead of my having to try to read that cardboard packaging. Overall, I don't mind the negatives too much because I know to be careful of ALL my nonstick pans. The one negative that bugs me the most is the "don't heat when empty" rule. I do like the pan a lot right now. If it lasts me a few years, I will be happy with it. I do have cheaper pans that are just as good. This one is a really good value though. Basically, the things that make a non-stick pan so good also mean there are drawbacks. This pan proves you don't have to spend a fortune on a decent piece of non-stick cookware.

Cleans in dishwasher without scratching
So far this is as advertised. Nonstick and can be cleaned in the dishwasher. No scratches. Nice looking. Handle does get hot as other reviewers mentioned but I usually use a potholder with pots out of habit.

Gets the job done
It's okay. Easy to clean. Food still sticks in spots. The pan that I received is not truly flat. It's slightly raised in the middle so heating is uneven and the pan spins on the cook top. My guess is that it is a manufacturing defect.

Excellent!! No negatives at all so far!!
I don’t understand the negative reviews. It’s as if we received different pans. Consumer Reports gave this pan excellent reviews. I’ve been using it at least once a week for 7 months and it’s been excellent. I read the manufacturer’ s directions and I’m careful. I use only silicone spatulas, I preheat the pan for about 20 seconds. I always use a very tiny bit of olive oil or butter because I like the flavor and the food I cook has no fat of its own- mostly eggs, pancakes. I don’t cook meat. The only tiny scratches I see are on the outside bottom, where the pan sits on the electric burner and that has no effect on the ceramic coating inside of course. Eggs and pancakes slide right out. I use more oil for sautéing chopped onions because I like to sauté in olive oil and they come out great. I’m gentle when I wash the pan and it takes a few seconds to wash it with a soapy sponge. I don’t put it in the dishwasher because it only takes a few seconds to wash and dry it by hand. I would not ever put a nonstick pan in a dishwasher whatever the manufacturer says. I do not stack anything on top of the pan unless I put in a pan protector or dish towel. I’ve read that unlike all stainless steel or cast iron or Corning ware, this type of pan is not really made to last for more than 2 years. I don’t know how long it will last, but so far it’s extremely useful. I just ordered 2 more pans as gifts for a very busy working family. I hope they will be just as great. I hate to be wasteful so I really hope it lasts longer than 2 years. My stainless steel pots are over 50 years old, but they are not nonstick and sometimes I need to make things easier.

Non Stick Lasts about a year - MFG says it need to be cleaned a special way.
Nice pan when new, light weight, non stick. About a year food is sticking, have to scub to clean it, wipe to clean is a thing of the past. Still looks good. Contacted support They were nice enough to provide tips to keep pan in good health (below), will see how it goes! "We are very sorry to hear about the issues with your cookware. Don’t worry, this issue can be easily resolved! It is possible that you have a layer of carbonized oil built up on your pan that will create a barrier between the pan and your food. When this happens, you are basically cooking on the layer of burned oil as opposed to the surface of the pan. This layer may not be visible at first but may turn yellow-to-orange-to brown as the layer builds up. This cleaning method has proven to be extremely successful and can be used when you notice staining and/or sticking. Once completed, you may resume normal washing with soap and a soft sponge. Avoid use of abrasive cleaning pads and sponges or washing up brushes as the bristles are also abrasive. We have included our exterior cleaning method as well. Interior: Fill the pan halfway with water and bring it to a simmer for about 2 minutes. Pour out the water and place the pan on a safe sturdy surface. Carefully use a Melamine sponge (Mr. Clean Magic Eraser or our Restoring Sponge) and a little plain water on the warm surface to wipe away the food or stuck on oil. This should do the trick. The restoring sponge recommended for deep cleaning is perfectly safe. Our Product Team has tested this product for safety and durability. The sponge contains pores, which when moved around your pan, enables it to grab food and oil particles. Our cookware is coated and sealed and therefore, nothing will leach into your pan. Once the deep cleaning is complete, you may wash your pan as you normally would. Exterior: Plain tap water and the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser or any Melamine sponge should do the trick for minor staining! If you have stubborn stains, you may Mix baking soda and a little water to form a smooth paste; then use kitchen paper to rub the paste over the stained area (exterior surfaces only). As a reminder from our Care & Use instructions: It is very important to know the smoke point of the oil you choose. We recommend oils with a high smoke point, to reduce the chances of oils getting too hot and sticking to your pan. We therefore recommend keeping Extra Virgin Olive Oil for the salad bowl and not using it as a cooking oil because it easily oxidizes on exposure to air and heat. Typically, the only other reason a pan will lose its non-stick properties is due to abrasive cleaners. ***It is extremely important to avoid abrasive cleaners/brushes/sponges when cleaning non-stick ceramic coated cookware.*** ***Abrasive cleaners and brushes can scuff your pan ever so slightly, that it will affect the non-stick properties.*** Regular Olive Oil is a better option as it has a higher smoke point. We also find that many consumers like clarified butter (Ghee), Refined Coconut Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Peanut Oil and some vegetable oils with high smoke points. We suggest avoiding Avocado oil as this oil can become sticky when heated. If you do choose to cook with Avocado oil, please keep the heat on low to medium. Users should avoid all oils in spray form, as the tiny oil droplets will heat up very quickly and burn, creating a layer of carbonization on your pan. "

NOT induction compatible
I bought this for my induction cooker, and found out it can't be use. it says in specs 'COMPATIBLE DEVICE: Smooth Surface Induction, Gas' so i bought it THAN under 'About this item' 'For all stovetops, except induction ' what kind joke is this, i end up with a big pan that is totally useless to me

Exactly as pictured & described
I haven't used it yet but ot seems highly durable & well made. No plastic bits that might melt. Strong yet light enough to handle. Time will tell how well it holds up. If it goes well will definitely buy in this brand & type of pan. Fast delivery arriving in branded packaging. Brand new without any signs of fault or pre trial use.

AMAZON!
