AUVON Rechargeable Battery Night Light, Motion & Dusk-Dawn Sensor, 4 Packs

My family loves these lights on hallways and stairwells. They are simple to install, have a great motion sensor detection radius, are easy to recharge, last long between charges, and can even double as an emergency flashlight in a pinch. We love these and recommend them to all who want a little light in dark areas of their home or office.

Small but very functional with a long battery life. Had to buy them again. Sticks well on flat surfaces. Very sturdy. Brightness is good enough to see in the dark. Has 3 options: off, on and auto function which senses movements and turns on or off. Senses movement easily and at least 5ft away. Senses lights and daytime and doesn’t come on, only comes on when it’s dark or there is less lightening. I bought them a year ago and I’ve only charged them at least two or three times. Comes exactly as the photo and package well with 4 lights and a type A charging cable. I usually charge it on my entertainment center that has a usb port and it’s takes a couple of hours to charge. Definitely worth the money, definitely recommend these lights. Also makes a great gift.

The motion sensor is super responsive; it lights up my path in the dark like a pro ninja. No more fumbling for light switches at 2 AM – that's a win! Rechargeable? Yasss! No more digging around for AAA batteries at 3 AM either. Just pop it on the charger during the day, and it's good to go all night long. Plus, it's eco-friendly, so major props there. The design is sleek and minimalistic. It blends seamlessly with my decor, and the size is just right – not too big, not too small. And did I mention it's portable? Take it to the bathroom, kitchen, or even camping – it's versatile! But now, the not-so-sunny side: the brightness. It's decent for a night light, but it won't light up your room like a floodlight. If you're expecting it to replace your ceiling lights, you might be a tad disappointed. Also, the motion sensor's range is not crazy wide. You gotta be kinda close for it to activate. I've had these nightlights for 4 years and they are still going strong! The light has 2 settings, bright and dim and they light up a small hallway well. They are well made, sturdy and are rechargeable. We travel with them and have never had one break. If you want to put the on a wall they come with a metal wall plate that comes with an adhesive strip to apply the plate to the wall. The night light attaches to the metal plate with a magnet. You can also just set this down on a table or counter. They last a long time on a charge. You can set it to off, on, or motion sensor when dark. I use the motion sensor. I have these in my house to light up dark hallway and it works well. We don't use the hallway at night very often and had to recharge it about every year. We also use these when travelling. The are small and easy to pack. You can stick them on the counter in the bathroom to give you light without needing to turn the big light on. My only qualm is that it doesn't stay on quite long enough. The remedy is to wave your arm and it goes back on. The place where this really shines (pun intended) is on a cruise ship. Cruise ships are made of metal and this baby sticks right on the wall wherever you want to put it. I put one outside the bathroom door down low to light the floor on the way to the bathroom and one inside the bathroom. You could even stick one inside the closet. All in all I am very pleased with this night light.

Great little light for my age walking to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Creepy that I wake up without moving and it’s on. I live alone so why is it turning on?

These are great motion lights. We bought them to use in our bedroom and bathroom when nature calls us out of bed at night. They work great. We find the lower light level provides enough light and doesn't wake the sleeping partner. The charge lasts a very long time. The sensor is very sensitive to movement. The magnetic mount option is very convenient. Highly recommend!

I would definitely recommend these stick-on lights for darker areas where there are no plugs for regular lights. I put 6 of these going up the stairs at my 95 yr old Mom's house. They light up as she walks up the stairs so she can see the stairs. Then, they automatically turn off. They came charged, and after a month, we haven't had to recharge them, although with USB plug-ins, it should be very easy to do so. These would work great in a closet or Kitchen cabinets, etc.

These were purchased after another brand did not work out so well for us. As others have noted, they are small. But they put out plenty of light. We are using them in a shared bathroom where turning on the main lights would be a problem. The adjustable brightness works well -- we use them on the lower setting and it's just right for a night light. The color is soft white, not the glaring blueish-white of some LEDs. The motion detection is quite sensitive -- they will detect motion at 8 to 10 feet even off to the side. They stay on for 20 seconds with no activity, but will re-trigger and continue to stay on if there is any motion in their detection zone. Other lights did not do this. Another reviewer complained about a failed charge cable and thought it was proprietary. It's not -- it is a standard micro-USB cable. The battery life seems quite good so far -- over a month on the first charge. The magnetic mount is nice. Only minor complain is they will turn on (or stay on) if there is what I would consider adequate ambient lighting. I was initially concerned that might needlessly reduce battery life, but so far it's not a problem. Can't comment yet on long-term battery or other life. Will update if it's a problem. Overall: Recommended. Update 10/30/23: I used one of these lights on the Auto-On mode for well over a month without recharging. Out of curiosity, I charged both and set one to the On position, with the intensity switch in the lower light position, i.e. on continuously. After 4 days of continuous use, that light was starting to be noticeably dimmer than the unused light, but it was still more than adequate to provide some illumination in a dark bathroom or hallway. That's 96 hours of continuous lighting on one charge (on low light setting) -- and still going, like the Energizer Bunny. Pretty impressive. In addition to being very good night lights, I have found that they come in handy when working in tight spaces -- under a dashboard, in an engine compartment, in a refrigerator (don't ask...). The magnetic mount lets you position them easily, on the high setting they are relatively bright, and will often fit where other lights won't. Now that I know they will last for hours, it is kind of fun finding new uses for these. Definitely recommended.

These are a great item! 2 light levels are plenty, the modes work as they should, rarely need recharging, e.g. 5 months of motion detection mode for my first one that needed recharging. I love that they are magnetic as the door frames in my apartment are metal so I have the lights strategically placed in my hallway, kitchen doorway, and in my one particularly dark closet. This review is for the Auvon brand only. I paid about $40 for a 4 pack. Compare vendors for the best price.

I must admit that I did not take much notice of the dimensions of these lights when I purchased them. On arrival the package was small and I thought they had only supplied one unit. I was wrong. These lights are small and the two units as promised were in the box. No assembly required and they are charged and working straight out of the box. No batteries needed as they charge via USB with a supplied cable. When charging an amber light shows in the name logo and goes out when fully charged. There are three settings. Off. On and Automatic. The light brightness has two settings and is achieved by pressing the round button. Low and High are available. Set the light to automatic and the sensor in the front will pick up movement and switch the light on. It goes out after 30 seconds or so. They are very useful. I have one in the bathroom and one in a cupboard. They maybe small but the light is more than enough. They have a simple magnet fitting. Stick the magnet where you want the light and the unit mounts neatly to the magnet. Easily removable for charging. They look great on the wall and are small enough not to be noticed.

Can't fault these lights at all. It works as advertised. They are very small in size but can illuminate it's surrounds very well. I have one installed for my staircase and when it is switched on, the light can reach as far as about 5m away.

Works well and nice to have in dark areas without having to use an outlet.
