Large size, great for my use
I purchased this meat baller based on other reviews and i'm so glad that I did! I actually purchased it to make bath bombs and it's absolutely the perfect size & so easy to use. I love that their are holes in either end to help force out air, and also help release the ball. They clean up so easily and I haven't had any issues with the sides becoming loose from the pressure I put on them like similar ones I've had in the past. They definitely make a good size ball, don't think meatballs you buy at the supermarket, more the size when you go out to eat & get two large meatballs with your meal.

Does The Job
My kid makes the best meat balls. She's 19, but Santa still put this bad boy in her stocking last year. Smart guy, that Santa. Makes perfect sized small meatballs. It is sturdy and reliable, and very affordable. It is also good for melon balls and cake balls. Balls, balls, balls. This makes 'em. Why buy a fancier one?

Hurts my fingers
I bought this to make mini bath bombs. They worked pretty well. I don't think it was the meat baller's fault but it took me forever to make the bath bombs because so many wouldn't hold the shape right. But I think it's because a meat baller isn't the best way to make bath bombs. I need a mold that can hold it until it dries. I rated it a little lower because this hurt my fingers after using it for awhile. It started to wear away at my skin. So my skin was really raw where the handles slip over your fingers. I got this for really cheap under $1 so it was definitely worth the price.

It works, but could use a redesign for comfort.
It was a gift, so here is what I have heard from the person I gave it to. They think it makes a meatball a bit large in size, but that wasn't a major con for them at all. They really wished the finger holes were coated in some soft plastic. They found that while squeezing tightly on the device over and over and over again to make many compact meatballs their fingers got sore from the hard metal edges. Also in order to make compact meatballs they found the need to still use their hand to remove excess raw meat and press the meat into the device. There is also a small hole in the bottom of each cup of the device where excess meat oozes out so your hand is needed to brush this away as well. Finally, while it says hand wash recommended, they report having no issues putting it in the dishwasher.

Quick and Easy way to make dozens of easy meatballs.
I bought the combo of meatballer, The Meatball Cookbook and Chicago metallic meatball pan. Followed the "classic" recipe, loaded up the pan with the stainless steel meatballer (wonderful tool) and within the hour served up an amazing meal. Pan cleans up easily too. I highly recommend. This set up will get frequent use! Little hint, after mixing up the meatball mixture, pop it back in to the fridge or even the freezer for a few minutes.... the meat firms up and the tool works perfectly. If the mixture is too soft, it's harder to get the meatball out of the tool.

NO PROBLEMS USING THIS
this meat baller works good for me, the meat will stick to it. quick fix ether dip in water after making a few meatballs or what I do is spray it with a light of coat Pam. you also have to scrap off the extra meat that comes out of the holes & have to roll the balls tighter with your hands but its no big deal at least for me it Isn't. I like the way it works and I'm happy with it I would buy this again.

Waste of time
I bought these in hopes that my daughter who will not touch raw meat would be able to help me by balling the meatballs. So i decided to test them 1st and they did not do what i needed them to do so I wound up balling them by hand as I normally do. The only thing it did well was grab a uniform portion of meat. It didn't press it tightly enough to form a ball nor did it come out of the baller easily.
