Oh my gosh, I don’t know if anyone else’s husband has 5000 hats, but mine does! I love that he loves them so much, but they tend to get scattered everywhere. He hung this in his closet and it’s perfect for his 20-30 hats! It was quick and easy to set up and feels pretty sturdy. Would recommend!

We had baseball caps thrown around recklessly in an open mudroom cubby, which is probably pretty par for the course when you have 2 adults and a few kids in the midst of sports season living together. The cap rack stapped over our mudroom closet door pretty easily and are not super visible from the outside. We were able to move all of the hat sprawl from the cubbies and neatly organize them here. It works pretty well, especially for adjustable hats. For fitted hats, it doesn't work as well. You can do 2 hats per clip, but it starts to get messy again so I opted to do 1. It works, it doesn't look as nice as other cap racks, but maybe that's not as important inside of a closet. Bonus: the kids are wearing their hats more now that they can see which is which!

This rack is the best one out there! I have purchased others in the past and ended up throwing them away. This one actually holds the hats nicely and you can see the hat front by just looking at it. My wife is very happy with with it as all my hats are nicely displayed in my home office. Just remember to attach the bottom dook hooks and tighten them a bit. It keeps the hats from moving around. Don't waste your money on the other ones that "stick" to the wall, I found those on the floor many a morning. It was very easy to install didn't even have to cuss once!

It does his job, it’ll hold my kids hat. The reason I give it three stars is because the metal brackets that go on the top and bottom of the door will def. scratch your doors! You can tell by the feel of the metal edges, I elected like others to put some type of soft felt on the inner parts of the hooks. On the bottom of the door, I added, felt on the bottom of the hook, so it didn’t scratch my floors. Make sure you have some clearance between the floor and the bottom of your door because adding all that could make a drag on a door. Again, it does the job but I would have returned it if I didn’t happen to have some felt in my drawers.

I love it cause it hooks over the door, stays stable, easy to adjust and install. It holds a lot of hats. I only have 4 up right now cause I’ve cleaned them & just to show the spacing in between.

I’ve had a lot of over the door hat holders over the years but the hooks on this one are SUPERB! Actually hold, the straps tight if needed. 10/10 recommend. They have stayed in place so far and don’t rattle. Easy to take off and reinstall.

The idea is nice but it didn’t work with my doors

I ordered this to keep my baseball hats organized. Some of my hats are adjustable but some are not so there is no loop at the back to hang it from. With or without the loop they stay secure on the holder. I also placed my cycling hats on where there is also no loop and again they stay secure. Feeling brave I tried my toques and they also stayed on. In a month I have not had a hat fall off. I was so happy that I ordered a 2nd organizer and was able to put scarves, cycling caps and hats with a strap (Tilley hats). I find it is best to hang only one hat on a hook. I can now organize the shelf in the closet for my gloves.
