I got this hat a week and a half ago. The battery is already dying. I have to charge it every single day. The light lasts less than an hour a day. I’m just estimating but I don’t leave it on for a whole hour. I turn it on 5 minutes here, 5 minutes there. I will say it fits and it looks nice. Definitely not worth the price considering the cheap manufacturing of the light/battery. I have another hat that’s very similar that I got a year ago or so, and that one doesn’t have this problem. The design of the light is identical. I only have to charge that one about once a week. This hat is not worth the price. Update: I think there’s something wrong with the circuitry, not the battery. The light is bright but then it keeps going out. It doesn’t stay on for more than a few seconds. I cannot be bothered returning it, it’s too much trouble. I’m def not getting this one again though. Another Update: I’ve still been wearing it because it’s pink and it’s a nice hat. It’s starting to work better. I still have to charge it every day but it stays on now. Recently I opened up the circuit board area and closed it again. Maybe that jostled something into better contact. So I changed my stars from 1 to 4.

Love this! Head lamp straps are always slipping off me so I tend not to use them even though I own several. I put this beanie on and wore it for a couple of hours and had no issues whatsoever. It is very comfortable to wear and does yard any weight or bulk to the beanie. Of course, a beanie stretches so it’s perfectly sized. I ordered black so I could wear it with just about anything and it’s a true black in color. It looks good on whether or not the light is on. It’s easy to charge, no cords involved. You just pop the light out and take the cap off the usb end and stick it directly in the usb port. It also charges pretty quickly. The light has lasted me a couple of hours at a time of continuously being on maximum brightness which is pretty good for being such a lightweight light. It’s not as bright as a regular headlamp but it’s definitely bright enough to see where you’re going on a dark moonless night.

These hats are great, warm, made well, stud comfortable fit. Bright light allows for hands free to work on the farm. Good price. I bought the sea green
