Really great pen!!
0.5mm tip is not the most popular, so the options are not as many versus 0.7mm and 1mm. I initially purchased the cheaper off brand as well as just other cheaper brands. Skips, will have spaces in the middle, smears, everything a pen shouldn't really have. I was holding off on Pentel since these seem to be the fancy priced ones. I can assure you that the price is worth it!! I love these so much!! I am down to my last 2. I write a lot on a daily basis. It will still smear when you use a highlighter over it, regardless of how long you wait, I don't mind. I have other pentel pens to try and test out. If one of those kinds are better and won't smear, I will stick to those. Pentel is the #1 gel .5mm pen company!! I have tried them all!!!!

Worth it
I havnt used the pent for long so I couldn’t really put a rate for longevity. But so far I have gifted a pen to all my coworkers and the love the feel and the ink flow of the pen! It’s such a beautiful design and color scheme with the grey window. The smear for how quickly the pen dries isn’t too bad at all. Write smoothly!

Fine writing tip
I absolutely love this pen but not enough ink. It appears as if the pen isn't full of ink. I use them constantly and would like the ink to last longer. I love the fine tip..the smooth writing...no smearing...quick drying...

Quality of the Cross pens at much better rpice
I bought the 0.5mm and the 0.7mmm. Smoothe gliding tip, long lasting, inexpensive refills. and perfect for my labs books and I don't cry if I lose it as I did with my expensive fountain pens!

Overpriced
The pen works great but is way overpriced. Should be $1.50/pen at the most, not $3.25/pen.

Sails smoothly on paper (Show off version)
The Japanese create - in my opinion - some of the finest writing pens, and this is no exception. This model is more expensive due to the finishing (pearl white like barrel and chrome coloured tip and clip) and you can the same pen at around half the price but with black plastic finishing plus other colours if you want. All interiors are the same in both and they are both worth it.
