Final Update (2):Board is dead, had two hotswaps fall out randomly. Some pictures if you'd like. GMMK Glorious full is MUCH better buy in every way and is only $59. This board looks way better in the trash.Update 1:The double quote/single, "L" key, and minus key all just died some time between last night and this morning which means the PCB has issues... not sure anyone else is having issues, but only after two weeks I have a big ol paper weight now. I have to change my rating, sorry.It’s cheap. But for $60 I shouldn’t complain, it's actually nice and thick feeling once it's all together. I bought the board to have a cheap hot-swap to play with various switches before I know if I want to solder them into an enthusiast board. It came with no instructions on how to use the board and it’s NOT KPrepublic, it’s called “Neo qwerty” and everything on their website is in Chinese, no English. The Bluetooth actually works. When I plugged the board in the Tab key was blinking fast and nothing worked. Apparently you need to leave it connected for a while to charge a battery before it’ll work. It actually connected via Bluetooth first (Fn+tab) BUT I had to flip the switch under the leg to make it work. I didn’t even know that existed till I looked at the question on Amazon.But how is the board? It’s actually not bad once the switches are in. It’s higher than a Razer Huntsman but lower than a KeyCult. There is plenty of space to put in some foam which will make it thicker. The PCB, plate, and frame were all warped but everything screws in just fine. I am about 5% slower on monkey-type but I could get used to it in time. I put in some Sherbet’s and it’s not bad, nice to have a try at them finally even if it’s in this board. It’s just super cheap. 205g0 on the stab stems, dialectric on the wires. No films or lube on the switches. It’s up to you if you want it. QMK and VIA do not recognize it.

I used this as a primary keyboard for a while, rocking gateron brown switches. The biggest issues I’ve had were switches coming loose/popping out after a while. This became too frequent to be worth continuing to use. Like others have said, the connection point of the usb-c cable is also really bad. It can work fine if you use your brain and plug it in at an angle. It’s not a bad concept, just not the best execution. The RGB is fine. It’s not the brightest in the world, but at these prices I didn’t expect it to be. I still absolutely love this form factor, and I hope I can find myself using the board again in the future.Important note: Finding key cap sets which contain all the appropriate keys in their respective sizes DID prove difficult, as I was going for an all white aesthetic with this one. The form factor seems to be getting more popular however, so that may change.

I love the compact layout and I saw the hotswappable component. After waiting weeks and weeks for parts I finally assembled my board and plugged it in. To my utter disappointment the leds are dim. Barely visible in a lighted room. I've turned up the brightness as much as possible, still dim. Extremely disappointed, let down and crushed. Wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

I received my PCB after a good month and a half due to the corona outbreak. The board is great! The spacebar stab is tad bid rattly even after applying some lube but not really noticeable. One major problem that I've encountered such as others who have this board is the horrible USB C connector. It was a really tight fit. I had to sand down the edges of the cable so I can snug it in. The software is a little bit confusing but I got the hang of it pretty quickly. Other than that, the board is amazing. The plate is steel and the rest of the body is good quality plastic.

The USB-C cable isn't slim enough to fit into the socket. You would have to damage either the cord of the board to plug it in. Just poor design, it feels fine when assembled and keycaps are on. It has a nice weight. Still poorly designed usb-c cabling but the hotswap sockets are top notch.

Wasted my time buying this keyboard. 1/2 the board was dead and returning it was a such a hassle to the point where I just smashed it onto the floor.

Ordered this off the kprepublic website themselves. The stabs were surprisingly really nice and the case feels solid. My only complaint is the connection point is very small and the type c has to go in at a concerning angle to be plugged in.
