Keeping me dry
This item worked great. I used it on my motorcycle helmet I knew rain was coming so I spayed my visor, I followed the instructions, and as it stated the rain drained right off the visor. The issue is that after a few weeks you will need to reapply the spay. I found that out the hard way. Lucky I had the spay with me, pulled over an spayed my helmet once I dried the helmet. I was good again. Good product

This stuff works!
Water slides right out of the way when you're moving. Coating did not cause any fogginess or obstruction of view. Kept visor nice and clear.

Better than Rain-X
I like this stuff better than Rain-X. It goes on easy, doesn't leave a milky or cloudy film like I find Rain-X does, and requires less rubbing to 'finish'. The only down is that water tends to bead up into larger drops before it slides off the visor - Rain-x tends to start sliding off water when the drops are smaller in size. But, this stuff is clearer, goes on and comes off easier, and is in general easier to live with. A little pricey for the amount you get, but it goes a long way and the spray bottle is a convenient size. It has a vinegar-y smell so I apply this with an exhaust fan going. I'd give this a 5-star rating if the drop size was smaller when it begins to stream off the visor, and if it was about 30% cheaper...but I still like it overall. :-)

very good visor water repellent
I am big fan of using a rainex product on car windshields. Needed similar function for my motorcycle visor. this was advertised to do just that. I am pleased with the performance during rain. I just need to lean to the right for a second and the wind blast clears the visor. behind the windscreen, the visor still beads up water and helps it drain off, but a fresh high velocity blast of air totally clears the visor like you just ran a wiper on it. re-apply after cleaning visor or before I see forecast for rain.

Best stuff I have tried..
I have been using this product for a little over a year and so far it has lived up to expectations and works very well. Before Nikwax I was using Motosolutions Rain Coat which is vastly inferior (think little sugar packet sized pouches of TurtleWax). The Nikwax goes on much easier, doesn't require buffing and sheds rain really well. Similar to Rain-X for a car. I've had the same bottle for about 14 months and it is nowhere near empty and I commute every day rain or shine. As some other reviewers have pointed out, the only drawback is forgetting to apply it. I generally check the forecast and if it is supposed to rain I'll apply it at the start of the week. Even if I forget there is usually enough residual stuff on my visor that it beats an untreated visor.

Amazing results!! 👏
Life long user of all Nikwax products. I use this on my motorcycle visor and have been very impressed how easy this is to apply and the results. Water just disappeared even when I'm not moving. No foggy film left over or anything else to obstruct my vision. Highly recommend this for all visors.

crap
I normally don't take the time to write reviews as I should. But this stuff is a total waste of money. I can't remember now why I did not send mine back for a return. I listened to someone on a Suzuki forum brag on this "smeary" junk. I tried it on my Nolan and HJC visors. Even worse I tried it on my Suzuki windshield. (Thought I'd never get it cleaned back to normal.) Spend a bit more and buy PLEXUS. It cost more - but it is by far - the best plastic cleaner, protectant & polish I have used. But - don't take my word - read the reviews (usually 4-5 stars) on PlEXUS on Amazon and elsewhere.

It's not perfect, rain will just bead more.
I expected water to just run off, but after 2 applications I realised it just makes the rain not pool so much. The water will bead in smaller amounts making it easier to see. So yeah... it's ok.

Great stuff, just make sure you don't rub it off during/right after a ride.
This stuff is great. I only ride a 125 so i never manage to get any real speed and rain was becoming a problem. with this stuff it isn't anymore. Some people say it doesn't work and others say it works but only if your moving. This is from my own experience using the product so hopefully will put some minds at ease before buying. Clean your visor first and make sure it's dry, apply a few sprays of nikwax to the visor and 1-2 to whatever your using to rub it in. Doing this it helps stop the nikwax from being completely absorbed into whatever rag your using to apply it and actually keep it on the visor. Make sure you don't rub to much or to little, if you feel you havn't applied enough add another spray to the visor and work it in. The next thing is, don't wash or rub the visor after it rains. This stuff is water based so it comes right off once you wipe the visor. I let the visor air dry after a ride and only reapply if i'm not using the bike again for that day or if it's been a week with no rain. I think this is where people are going wrong with the product and are rubbing it off as soon as they get off the bike so the journey home has no nikwax to keep the rain off and then they think the product doesn't work. The key is not rubbing it off once the visor gets wet, just let the visor air dry and only reapply once you feel you arn't using the bike for that day. Your probably thinking this stuff won't last due to me saying it rubs off quick, wrong. I leave mine on the visor for a week if it hasn't rained for a week and then i reapply, it might last longer but i only leave it a week. TL;DR It works, just don't rub it off once you get off the bike and let the visor air dry, only reapply after your done with the bike for that day or it hasn't rained for a week/have a lot of bugs on your visor.
