PylePro PMDK102 Dual Speaker Stand and 1/4 inch Cable Kit, Black

The deal looked good.. but I was also concerned that perhaps the product would be cheaply built to look like better products. I am very happy to report that was not the case. The product is of exceptional quality. The stands are extremely sturdy but lightweight, attractive, contain the safety locking pin (a must have feature). The stands alone were worth the price, throw in a very nice nylon gig bag that is also of exceptional quality and then you have a real steal. The bag alone goes for around 45-60 on amazon for similar product and it makes transporting these a breeze .. no more smashed fingers. Add to that the two cables and the deal is just unbelievable.

I recently purchased this set. They are definitely lightweight and easy to lift. The cables that came with them are good quality if you want to use them as a backup cable set. The stands themselves are also lightweight and easy to carry in the bag. Biggest issue was the carrying bag. Box came damaged with a small hole in the side, which also punctured the bag inside the box. Since the carry bag had been punctured with the hole in the box, I called to try and request JUST A NEW BAG ONLY, Amazon insisted on giving me a refund and even let me keep the entire thing with a suggestion to order a completely new set. It seems a bit weird that I'd have to order a whole new set for just one simple bag. I will still recommend this product for the stands and the extra cables they provide as a good starter set.

These are poorly finished but so far they’ve done the job. I wouldn’t recommend if you’re going to give them lots of use but for me (once every two weeks or so) they’ll be fine - and they’re dirt cheap. Win.

THESE STANDS ARE A GREAT DEAL FOR THE PRICE POINT...I AM VERY PLEASED with these stands after several shows.. The workmanship and the quality is a bargain especially if you are pinching pennies. I would most definitely recommend this to those that are considering this purchase. (Read on..) HOWEVER... the stands in the bag are an Extremely tight fit (an extra half of an inch on the long side would be great). and the bag had very minor holes in it after transport (but bags are meant to be used)... the bubble wrap pops and the stands have contact with the material and the friction wore holes in the bag. I made the mistake of setting these stands (in the bag) across my speakers while laying on their backs and it chipped away some of the paint on the speaker grills. Long story but space was limited and had no other option. Other than the tight fitting bag and touching up speaker grills I am happy with the purchase and will be purchasing more of these in the future... Added Note: I will be reversing the one bolt that has the threads on the knob side of the upper trapezoid that controls the footprint of the stand, I tangled with the threads recently and although it did not draw blood or cause injury... Reversing it would minimize that chance.

What I like is it comes as a package with a carrying bag and a set of speaker cables. The stand seems reasonable sturdy and easy to set up. What I dislike is that the description page and item box say the stand in made out of aluminum but its actually made of steel. I gave the product only a 3 star rating because the item does not match its materisl description plus after ordering two of these and having problems with both speaker cables. One set had mismatched set of cables and the second set was missing one cable.
