Great Ball. Unbeatable Value.
I'm a bogey golfer. Play 2 times a week. My goal is to shoot in the 80's. Sometimes yes, sometimes no. I hit my driver on average about 220 yards. If this is similar to your game you might want to check out this review. I've been playing the Titleist DT TruSoft. Yellow. I purchased the Wilson's because they were inexpensive and yellow. i planned to use them on the holes where I might lose a ball. i am SO impressed with these Wilson's. Here is the bottom line. For my game, it plays no different than the Titleist. None. In fact it might even be a little longer off the tee. I'll use up the rest of the Titleist and then probably stick with the Wilson. No more switching out balls between holes. At $.64 a ball vs. $1.83 for the Titleist, the thought of losing a ball is no longer an issue. Especially if there is no performance difference. To me that is the most important issue. If the balls didn't perform the same, I wouldn't be writing this. Finally, the feel of the ball is great. This isn't one of those cheepo-rock-hard balls on the market. It has a nice soft feel on contact. But not mushy like some of the ultra low compression balls. I don't know how Wilson did it for this price, but I will definately be stocking up....

Great value ball!
Super cheap price for golf balls. If you lose a lot of balls because you haven’t been playing for a while and then just starting up again (like me) these are definitely the ones to go for. Or if you’re just starting out in golf in general these are a great beginner ball. Not to mention they actually hit very far and straight. I’ve outdrove some of my friends who use pro v1s. However they do not have very good backspin. So if you’re on your second or third shot and trying to make the green, it may be harder for this ball to stick on there. But for the price and maybe for saving these balls for a water hazard course, you can’t beat it! Especially because these are brand new balls and they’re cheaper here on amazon than some of the refurbished balls you can buy at Walmart, Costco, or BJs wholesale club.

Good Buy For The Money
I bought these to play on a couple of the really tough water holes at my club. Since I usually make a sacrifice to King Neptune, I wanted to make it as cheaply as possible. Having qualified that, this is a decent ball considering it's low price. It seems to be a medium compression ball with kind of a hard feel on the clubface. I didn't have any trouble getting them up in the air and they were relatively low spin so I kept them fairly straight. I would recommend these to the casual player that loses a lot of balls to the deep rough and water but they are a little hard if you have a slower clubhead speed.

Hardest of the excellent valued Wilson balls (vs Smartcores vs Zip)
Out of the three value balls from Wilson, the Ultra 500s are the hardest of the bunch. Zip > Smartcores > Ultra500 in that order of soft to firm. While the Zip are a specialty ball for those with slower swing speeds or those that look for a soft ball with workability, the smartcores are a one fit all type of ball. The Ultra 500 are for those that prefer a firm feel. With that said the Ultra 500s in the bright yellow are a plus! Extremely visible and one ball can survive an entire round, granted you don't hit it off a tree at full speed. If you don't know what to get in value balls from Wilson, go for the Smartcores. The Zip are worth a try as well.

Great balls of fire!
These balls are a very good buy. Bright yellow color is easy to see in flight and easy to find on the ground. I haven't cut the cover on one yet, even after playing several holes with the same ball. I'm a high handicapper and I've tried more expensive balls, but losing a $2 ball in the water or in the woods is a bummer. If I hit the ball correctly these go very long and still have good feel around the greens. Just ordered another box.

Nice Ball for the Money
I usually shoot in the low to mid 80s, so I’m not usually trying spin a wedge back 6 feet. If I were, then I’d use a tour ball. Otherwise, though, these balls work well for me. I don’t know how “forgiving” they are, but I never think much about that. I either make a good swing or I don’t. They run pretty well off the tee, and spin well enough that I can hit up to a 5 or 6 iron and have enough spin for the old one bounce and stick.

Worth the money.
When you hit them off the tee you get no feed back.I didn't even feel like I hit the ball, but they go straight off the tee. Can't put any spin on them with irons and you have to hit short to the green, or they won't stop on the green. I NEED TO TELL EVERYONE THAT NO BALL WILL ADD DISTANCE, SWING SPEED IS THE ONLY WAY TO GET MORE DISTANCE, MY SWING SPEED IS 72 AND I HIT A STRAIGHT BALL SO I CARRY 180 YARDS AND IT ROLLS OUT TO 210. THE OTHER THINK IF YOU HITTING EVERYTHING TO THE RIGHT, YOU COMING FROM OUTSIDE IN. NO BALL OR DRIVER WILL FIX IT. YOU NEED LESSON FROM YOUR LOCAL PRO.
