I always thoroughly inspect the foods my family consumes prior to consumption and found no discrepancies in the product. I lightly toasted the spelt, turned it into a delicious breakfast cereal for my family. It maintained the crunchiness and beautiful nutty flavor during the toasting process. My family and I appreciate the realness, the non-gmo, raw whole grains of which the spelt consist! Very delicious and healthy Yes, I recommend!

Hard to find spelt flakes. I'm very happy Yupik has them! There aren't many places that do. I add these to my Bob's Red Mill 5 grain oatmeal to get some additional ancient grain goodness in there! I haven't yet made a porridge yet with just these... I guess I should do that one of these days. I hadn't aid attention to the fact this was 2lbs of flakes. It is a very large bag of them! Lol. They are definitely thicker than my roll oats.

Out of various brands of this is the best one I’ve had. I feel like the other brands were old or had drawbacks like mold or musty. This brand I’ve never had a problem with. I eat two tablespoons of this for breakfast every morning along with two other grains. I love the smell and the texture. It has a very light smell and I will keep you full for a long duration of time without having a mass amount of calories. It doesn’t spike my blood sugar as high as most grains. It only takes 6-7 minutes in the microwave for it to be completely cooked. I’m very thankful that Amazon has this product on here for sale because it’s so difficult to find this fresh at a grocery store. The bag also has a resealable airtight top so you don’t need to worry about finding a storage container that takes up extra space. I will continue to buy this as long as I can find it listed each month. Very good value and price.
