Design of the 20th Century

Bought this for a class. Love it. I had to read it cover to cover, but it is better to reference as needed. Alphabetical designers and design styles and movements. Great for anyone in the creative arts/architecture. I learned things I should have known about design but was ignorant of! This book enriched my life by giving me greater appreciation for designs from furniture to household objects to iconic buildings and taught me the historical and societal factors that influenced why they look the way they do. Worthwhile.

Although this is a small text by size, the information on people, places, and things related to design is enormous. I highly recommend this for collectors, artisans, and students of design history.

Fantástico muy completo

Love the book, but spine came scuffed

Small and compact, and looks just perfect on a coffee table. And if you are a designer; it is a great reference book for iconic furniture designs of the 20th century.

Smaller than I expected

I purchased this book as a gift for a Mid-century style lover. It was a good choice.

I paid $27.83 for a book that looks like it was salvaged from the 1992 Los Angeles Riots. Never again.
