Rotor came with external spline lockring
You expect premium quality from genuine Shimano parts, no debate there - the rotors are true, with the edges rounded and well made. This is used for a recreational gravel bike rider, so perfectly sufficient for her use. If you are a road rider who flies long downhills at 30+mph, then you may need rotors that has the cooling fins to help dissipate heat, otherwise this is perfectly sufficient for casual riders or light offroad riders. Another note - Mine came with the external spline for the lockring. The tool for this is typically the Shimano hollowtech bottom bracket 16 notch socket, you can search for TL-FC32. The other standard for lockring is the internal spline - 12 notch socket which is typically the socket for removing cassettes. It would be great if this detail can be put in this product in case people don't have the right tools for this, but then typically even home mechanics have both tools at their disposal. The lockrings can also be purchased separately and they're not too expensive.

Good quality disk.
Good quality. Bike got stolen. So the thief will have a nice disc break now.

Good value for the money.
I bought these for a second wheelset I was building for my Cannondale Topstone, as I like to have a hardcore wheelset with aggressive gravel tires, but also like to have a second wheelset with 32mm touring tires when doing routes that are a mostly pavement and well-groomed country roads. When I buy something in this price range, I'm always a little cautious, but this was a nice surprise. These are stamped (as opposed to milled) discs, but they're a great value for the money and work very well. You can spend about 5 times this amount for high quality milled rotors, but these will stop you just about as well. While they're getting broken in, they may remove a bit more of your pads, as the cutout edges aren't as fine as a more expensive rotor, but they work really well and I'm happy with the purchase. When I can afford to drop $50+ on rotors, I probably will, but these are working just fine for me in the meantime. Good value and great performance for the budget-minded cyclist.

It's Shimano so what else is there to say? *you do need a 16 notch bottom bracket tool to install

It’s Shimano 🤠
Easy to install and center in a 105 caliber with GRX levers. Great braking power, typical Shimano quality and performance! $20 for a rotor ain’t bad either - Great Value!

Shimano quality rotors
I bought a new set of wheels for my daughters gravel bike, and needed centerlock rotors for them. These were the only Shimano ones available next day, so I ordered them. They were in true, in the OEM packaging, and came with the right lockring. The pads bedded in on my daughters first ride, and stopped the bike well. Very happy with the purchase.

Fairly easy to install
Fairly easy to install, and cured the squeaking problem. Be sure to use the recommended brake pads.
