My husband and I do yoga every day. We had individual mats for this, but found that some stretches took you off the single mat slightly which did not allow for full focus on your stretch and technique. We decided that having 2 large mats velcroid together would give us a 8 x 10 foot mat to allow us both ample room for our yoga session without interfering with one another while keeping all stretches and poses at the same level. Can't say enough about how well these two mats combined work for us!! We are so happy we bought 2 of them...the Velcro works so well to keep them together, they are so comfortable and the support is great! The foam is thick and firm enough for yoga, tumbles, wrestling, etc. Love them!!!! The service and shipping were also great!

UPDATE: It's 10/9 and the mat is still in perfect condition and is still being used almost everyday, couldn't be happier. ORIGINAL REVIEW: TLDR: Buy it, it's a high quality product that works great as a gym mat Long story: I was looking for a comfortable gym mat so that I can do my stretches, Pilates and work outs on. I have mild/moderate arthritis so I needed something that allowed me to do certain moves without hurting my knees (also tailbone) from lack of cushion. This mat is fantastic and has enough cushion to not hurt me. I'm not a slim person but this does not give way in the cushion and it's the perfect size for my husband and I to stretch and do some workouts at the same time. Some of the reviews said theirs came punctured, threads were broken/created holes in the seams with use, or were dirty/previously used. When I got my package, I checked the mat for any of these potential issues and it was perfect. The seams were fine, no holes, it was brand new and clean, and no punctures. Two people use it everyday for almost 2 weeks and it still has no issues or even potential issues. Still looks brand new and strong. However, I will say that we do not drop any weights on it, we put those on the floor and we do not use shoes on it either (most of my exercises don't require shoes anyways). But the product looks to be high quality and durable. It fits my needs perfectly and I love the size. It costs quite a bit ($90 at the time of this review), but it's worth the price in my opinion and to be honest, it's even better than the public large mats at my LA Fitness. I prefer this one much more. It came with a 2 year warranty card/page, so that looks like a good sign as well and easily folds up and out of the way. Having it around and that fact that I can do many workouts on it comfortably, motivates me to continue working out during this pandemic. I highly recommend this mat.
