ECOXGEAR Ecopucks Bluetooth Helmet Audio One Color One Size

The Pucks fit well in my Giro helmet and the buttons are easy to push with gloves on. Siri is just a tap away! I already had the Zello app on my phone and was able to quickly pair the headset and test the walkie-talkie feature with a friend. Worked great! I keep the music volume pretty low so I can hear what’s going on around me, but these things get loud! Battery life is long enough for a few days of riding. And they’re easy to charge, even on the way to the mountain. Super happy with these!

Good sound. Didnt fit in my helmet.

When I first received these audio pucks I was initially very impressed. Nice, eco friendly packaging and very well written instructions led me to believe I had made a great buy. They paired easily to my phone as well.It all came crashing down when I actually listened to them. They were the most tinny sounding speakers I've heard in a long time, like a budget FM radio from the 90's. I tried positioning them differently, even took them out of my helmet and held them to my ears. Nothing worked. It's 2020 and we have bass in tiny headphones now so there are no excuses especially at this price.I will be nice and give 2 stars because everything but the most important part, the sound, was great. Also I was able to return them for a refund so I'm thankful for that.

I wanted to like this product after seeing it at CES. I was excited about the usb C charging because who wants to bring multiple types of cables on a trip. I read reviews that the sound quality was bad, but none of these drop in type of headphones sound great so I thought maybe that's all it was. NOPE. I also ordered a pair of the Wildhorns and compared both to my old wired outdoor tech chips that I'm upgrading. The audio is BAD. Yes the bass is non-existent, even compared to the generally poor bass from the competitors since these are just on ear headphones. The mids are also very lacking. I'd say the sound is on par with a pair of $5 earphones from a drug store check out line. Maybe if you're into talk radio, podcasts, or audiobooks while on the slopes they'd be acceptable.But then the icing on the cake is that they won't charge via usb c to usb c cables. They only charge with a large usb a to usb c cable. I tested with 3 different usb chargers and 4 different cables. So the one benefit of charging with my same cable is out the window.I'll be returning. I wish one of the competing brands would make one with true usb c charging.

I don’t like how long to turn on or remembering which side to turn on.I don’t like the walkie talkie function because it’s too many steps.I love the sound quality and easy pair to phone.I love that it’s the right size for my smith helmet

So I recently purchased this item and have only had a chance to use once on the slopes. Làsted a good 6 hrs at least in at around 38-46 deg. Not a Bose speaker by any means but still had good sounds. Fit well in my giro mips helmet with no issue. Not sure the life of battery yet but well worth the money as far as I am concerned.I own other items from ecoxgear and love their products.Very recommended!

Once you figure it out they’re easy to use. Have to mess with it a bit

I like the design of these helmet earphones and was excited that they use a USB C charging cable. The buttons are easy to press with gloves and they even include a USB C to wired headphone adapter which was an added bonus. However the sound quality is just aweful, basically worse than the free earbuds you get on an airplane. I was dumfounded as to how bad they sound for $100. I wouldn't use these in my ski helmet if they were given to me for free since my music sounds so bad. I tried these with a few different phones but it didn't make any difference to the sound quality. Returning these immediately.

Buttons are straight forward and easy to use/work.Easy to feel when a control button has been clicked/pushed. Buttons could be a little bigger, but still usable with gloved hands.Nice that the speakers do not have to be removed from the helmet to be charged all the time.Only negative thing I have to say about the unit is that it doesn't have skip backward.
