Excellent Ratchet with an unbeatable price!
This ratchet performed great! It was half the price of similar ratchets from Home Depot or Harbor Freight. I haven't really "abused" it yet, to know if it can hold up to a 250 pound man standing on it to break a bolt loose, but I can say that it hasn't once failed to remove any of the bolts I needed to remove. It feels very well built and sturdy. It is a bit on the large side, but that is pretty much across the board for a 1/2" ratchet. (This size of tool isn't going to fit down into the tight spaces between an engine and a firewall very easily. But it isn't supposed to.) I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to buy a new 1/2" ratchet. You simply cannot beat what you get for the price. If it ever does break or the ratchet mechanism fails (highly unlikely), I'll just buy another one at this price. The ratchet was sent to me packaged on the same Plastic backing board with zip ties that you would find buying a tool at any major retailer. However, it was also in its own cardboard box, sent straight that way from Stanley. So when I got it, it was brand new, and had never been out of the box. It also had never "banged" into any other tools, due to being in a box. So it was perfect when I received it. No scrapes or scratches of any kind.

Solid. Does the job at a good price.
Solid. It does the job a ratchet is supposed to do. I do not need a ratchet for professional every day use, so why spend $20+. This is the best price around that I have seen for a solid 1/2 inch drive ratchet. I am not one to try and put a lot of muscle into a ratchet. I don't want it to break. I can use a 1/2 inch drive breaker bar anytime I want to push things further or need to loose something that is very tight. Harbor Freight has the best prices for a breaker bar that I have seen.

Great tool at an affordable price
These are the best 13 dollars I have spent in my life. Ratchet clicking is a bit pronounced but it makes the tool feel durable and rugged. The tool is fairly large so it makes taking out those old rusty bolts a much easier job. The tool itself is beautiful so I feel sorry for it every time I drop it, even though it hasn't taken a scratch in months of abuse.

Very strong, great value, much nicer than I expected
Like the idiot that I am I broke my 1/2โ ratchet that I inherited from my grandfather. I kept looking at 1/2โ ratchets but couldnโt stomach the prices. This feels like a very nice tool and I just reinstalled my bike rack with it (needs a ton of torque to get bolt to stay put). Crazy good value. Much nicer than I expected.

Quality Made
This is a fine tooth ratchet good for tight areas where your limited to swing. This is a quality made ratchet. On rusted big bolts I recommend a 1/2 inch breaker bar be used first and follow up with this ratchet. Save your knuckles, use common sense. A little liquid wrench helps too. Stanley Works, now Stanley Black & Decker after the March 2010 merger with the Black & Decker Corporation, acquired the Husky brand. Stanley Works bought certain assets from National Hand Tool Corporation in 1986, and still manufactures the Husky Brand. You'll find that the Stanley tool is exactly the same quality as the Husky tools at a much better price on Amazon.

Good value, does the inteneded job.
Good ratchet locking mechanism so far as my last Craftsman one failed (after 30 years...lol). Probably could have gotten a warranty replacement but this one showed up at the door and does the job for <$10 without the hassle. Also bought a 3/4" black pipe 18" long as well as a breaker bar around ratchet handle to break and tighten lug nuts on vehicles. Don't have or want a compressed air gun so once lug nuts loosened, lift vehicle and use a cordless Dewalt to spin off and later snug before torqueing down with breaker bar/ratchet combo. Worked great on recent brake job.

Very Solid Wrench
This is an outstanding, high quality 1/2" socket drive wrench. I bought it so I could have a wrench to use with the sockets for my impact wrench and I have had no issues with it whatsoever. It has nice weight to it and seems to be very solidly made. The quality you would expect from Stanley.

My go-to ratchet
For simplicity I only keep 1/2" tools in my car, so this one is with me at all times for a few years. It is big, heavy, and tough. It doesn't ratchet as smoothly as my 3/8" ratchet, but my 3/8" feels like a toy compared to this thing. I will admit it doesn't always fit where I'm working, but it's inherent in the 1/2" size, not this particular tool. For the price and quality, I don't think you can be disappointed.
