This is an excellent wasp trap
This works really well as a wasp trap. The bait that comes with it has a chemical smell so I did embellish it with some fruit and sugar. I was skeptical that the quite large entrance in the base would allow an easy escape for wasp but this is not the case and many wasps go in and do not come out. It should be noted that this only works hung up as the entrance is in the base so can not be put on a surface.

Excellent to control wasps
Great trap , but doesn't work as well as my others that have Multiple entrance points

The best
This trap exceeds expectations and definitely recommend. A bad year for wasps or good which ever way you look at it but we have been stung a few times, even the cat😖 so thought I’d give a go. No need to waste money on attractant as half drunk old Pimm’s and ginger wine or jam in water work a treat👍

Didn't work for me
I put this out right next to my shed where I've seen wasps nesting behind the wooden panels. It's been out for 2 weeks now and hasn't caught anything, the wasps just completely ignore it

Does the Job, But Not a Total Wasps' Graveyard
Had a wasp nest in the eaves of my roof, with them coming up into my attic, so I grabbed this to deal with them. It definitely attracted the little buggers, and they were drawn to it right away. However, it wasn’t quite the massive haul of dead wasps I was hoping for. It got rid of a few, but I didn’t get the "wow" factor I was expecting. Still, it did its job in helping to reduce the problem, so I can’t complain too much. It’s worth a shot if you need to tackle a small nest!

Absolutely First Class Device
I bought a couple to try as we have orchards and wasps and hornets have been a big problem this year. You don't need the bait, just use some cider with some golden syrup dissolved in it. I now have 30+ of these protecting 300 apple trees and the orchards are like a different place. The traps work by both reducing numbers by trapping and by breaking the communication cycle with the nest. Brilliant.

Wasp trap
Filled mine with a mixture of cheap cider and syrup, caught 50 + wasps in a few days

Definitely attracts a lot of wasps
Seems to work very well at attracting wasps as well as hornets, although I noticed a fair few flew straight in and out again. The bright colour of the lid draws them in from further away, and not having to mix the bait with water is handy. Mine are all placed on the floor as they have a flat bottom but they are supplied with string to hang them. The string isn’t particularly long so you may need extra. I’ve got 4 of them dotted about currently along with 3 other traps of a different design (but using the same bait). I’d say they are a fairly effective solution but the key is to place the trap right in the wasps’ flight path but not so close to eating areas or doorways otherwise you end up attracting more to where you don’t want them. I’m happy enough with the traps and will buy the same bait again when I run out
