They work great even in my popper from the late 1990's.

I love these with the Presto popper. Easiest and best way to make perfect popcorn! Be careful to put in the right amount of oil and popcorn and listen carefully for when the popping slows. I put a little salt in with the oil. I have used these for years and always keep a supply on hand. Generally I discard after one use, but sometimes can use more than once if not starting to change color yet. They are inexpensive and worth one per bowl of popcorn to insure perfection.

Excellent value. My wife really enjoys popcorn and these concentrators really work well for her. Minimal number of wasted kernels. Excellent yield. She is in popcorn haven. I know - pretty corny.

These work as advertised, BUT if you have a 1200 watt microwave oven make sure to set the power down to 7 or 8, else risk a totally burned mess. I have found power 7 for three minutes in my micro gives great results. Also, you absolutely need to use these. I accidentally didn’t replace one and the popper doesn’t work well without using.

I had not purchased any of these Power Pop Discs for a long time because I had so many stock piled. However, just like everything else being made today, the quality is gone. I used my prior purchases no less than eight times. This new shipment cannot be used more than twice, and that’s stretching it! You cannot use this Presto Popcorn Popper without one of these discs, and it makes the BEST popcorn, so I’ll just have to “grin and bear it.”

I bought the popper at my thrift shop. It had a few of these inserts. I stoped buying microwave popcorn bags fir health reasons, one being too salty for me . My air popper is ok, my stove top popper is good, but this is faster with less cleanup But I was surprised how well and fast this popped (only 2min) but mostly surprised how few kernels are left I popped. I pour kernels in, then popcorn oil and popcorn salt on too so it gets dispersed as it pops. I’ve reused each 3 times with same results. .

Have had my corn popper a long time. Sure beats the bagged stuff. Freshly popped, as much or little butter and salt as you want.

Along with hot air poppers the microwave popper is equally effective as it allows the popping of popcorn 100% oil free, so no additional calories are added other than for the 1/2 pound of calorie dense butter, which turns popcorn into an edible treat. The popper discs do have a life which usually ends when holes are eroded into the material, causing the disc to lift off the bottom of the popper bowl. When this happens the unpopped seeds settle down to the bottom, where they all remain unpopped, so need to be sorted out and added to the next attempt. Each disc will endure 20-30 uses, so in the larger schemes of things is relatively inexpensive. Using a disc beyond its life may cause the popcorn to ignite.

This is a super enhancement for microwave popcorn. Of course you need the correct bowl that these cups are made for. Place cup at bottom of bowl, add popcorn kernels, then just enough oil to cover the kernels and fire up the microwave. At 800w I dial in 4 min but listen for the popping to slow down but not until it stops, (actually about 3,5 min) turn off and you will have wonderful popcorn, much better than at the movie theaters /kinos. If I could, I would bring my own popcorn to the movies. Enjoy!
