Excellent little knife

This knife is absolutely amazing, perfect craftsmanship, fit and finish, and shaving sharp out of the box. It would be great at twice the price, but for $60 it’s an unbelievable value. I was looking for a quality compact fixed blade (with a leather sheath) to pocket carry and this fits the bill perfectly. My only (minor) concern is that the retention snap was a little tight, but some Vaseline and a few minutes of snapping and unsnapping got it loosened up. I will definitely be buying another Joker knife.

This is a heavy duty knife that is shrunk down to make it a great pack knife for camping purposes.

I use this knife as my everyday carry. Perfect size. Feels great in the hand. Very sharp. Very well made. Good quality sheath.

The fit and finish are excellent. Not razor sharp out of the box which isn't big deal to me since I sharpen all my new knives first out of the box. Holds an edge well. The scales feel great in the hand smooth and nice feeling but will become slick if it get wet. The handle is extremely short which I thought was a good thing until I started using it. I have to grip the knife in a weird way to get any decent purchase on it. I really wish the handle was an inch or two longer, would have made this knife exceptional. This is made for people with really small hands, I have average to small hands but this is too small for my hands. Overall the quality is excellent, if you have small hands this knife is for you.

Great knife, and sheath. This is my 2nd joker knife. I would not hesitate to buy anything in thier product line.

Für Wanderungen, z.B. durch den Wald, wollte ich gerne ein kompaktes Messer mit schwarzer Lederscheide und meine Wahl fiel auf das Joker Erizo mit schwarzen Micarta-Schalen, die mit roten Linern unterlegt sind. Und was soll ich sagen: Ich bin absolut begeistert! Die Klingenform ist absolut toll, sowie auch etwas ungewöhnlich. Der Böhler N695 ist ein sehr guter Kompromiss aus Rostträgheit, Zähigkeit und Schnitthaltigkeit; für ein Messer in dieser Preisklasse fast schon Luxus. Die Klinge ist 75 mm lang, besitzt einen Hohlschliff, der etwa in der Mitte angesetzt ist. Auf der Rückseite der Klinge ist ein Jimping von etwa 28 mm angebracht, welches beim Arbeiten für sicheren Halt sorgt. Der Griff ist etwa 90 mm lang, aus schwarz-grauem Micarta und mit roten Linern hinterlegt. Für ein Messer dieser Größe ist der Griff ziemlich dick und liegt somit gut in der Hand. Für Menschen mit großen Händen könnte er evtl. etwas kurz geraten sein. Bei meiner HS-Größe 8 passen alle vier Finger um den Griff, der in einem kleinen Knauf nach hinten ausläuft, was ich allgemein sehr mag. Das Loch für den Fangriemen hat einen Durchmesser von etwa 5 mm. Über die Verarbeitung lässt sich nur Positives berichten. Klinge und Griff sind sehr gut ausgemacht, der Anschliff ist symmetrisch und die Schärfe ab Werk sehr ordentlich. Besonders gut am Joker gefällt mir die mitgelieferte Lederscheide. Sie ist gut vernäht und zusätzlich vernietet und mit einem dicken Keder versehen. Die Sicherungsschlaufe mit dem Druckknopf schließt ziemlich straff, was ein unbeabsichtigtes Herausrutschen sicher verhindert. Besonders praktisch finde ich die Gürtelschlaufe mit dem unteren Druckknopf. Somit lässt sich das Messer an den Gürtel an - und ablegen, ohne dass man den Gürtel dazu öffnen muss - das ist toll. Allen, die ein nicht zu großes Messer für unterwegs zu einem traumhaften PLV suchen, kann ich das Joker Erizo absolut empfehlen!
