Weber Replacement Flavorizer Bars, 17.5", for Genesis 300 series (front-mounted control panel), Porcelain-Enameled Steel

This will sound like an infomercial, but in fact it’s not. When I was in my early 20’s I got my first grill, let just say it was NOT a Weber. It lasted, maybe a year before it rusted, fell apart, and just stopped working well. Yes, I take care of my belongings more than others as I have OCD. I bought my first Weber grill, 13 years ago, it lasted 10 years, before I said, ok it’s time for a new one. Mainly because, the exterior of it had seen better days in those 10 years and I wanted a newer one. Three years ago, I bought the Silver Genesis e310. It met my needs for a full size grill perfectly. As you know, flavorizer bars don’t last forever, and the stainless ones at twice the price of these will not either. They are designed to do what they do. Sure I could have custom 1/8 stainless ones made, but why go through the hassle. For the price, and the next day at my door, they were ready to go. They lasted 3 years for $49. That to me is well worth it. I grill weekly so I know that most of you say “He probably used them once a week”. Nope, not me! I didn’t buy a $600 grill, to grill, once a week. Bottom line is you want quality, Weber is the best bang for the buck. Invest in something that eventually pays for itself. Amazon actually had the best price on the bars with free next day prime shipping.

If you’ve owned a Weber you know of its quality. Replacement parts are bit expensive but they will last a long time. Fit was perfect. Installation was only 5 minutes.

I'm writing this review to alert readers of a mistake I made, and it's my own darn fault. You need to pay close attention to the size that you need when ordering these replacement brackets. I ordered a size that was a few inches smaller than what I needed. The larger size is also available here on Amazon so be sure to measure the width of your brackets BEFORE ordering, and THEN order the appropriate size brackets. I love my Weber grill enough so that it's worth it to me to get the new parts. The older drip brackets were looking pretty sad, rusted, gritty, encrusted with soot and so on. These brackets are exactly like the old ones. The old brackets allowed flame to come up to the meat because the metal was so deteriorated. Now, with the new brackets, the heat gets dispersed evenly. So I have much better cooking control. I love it! Highly recommended!

They fit perfect. The grill is 9 years old this summer and still looks close to new (I use a great Ravenna Grill cover). These are the 1st and only parts I've had replace. My last Weber is going on 30 years (gave to my sister). Can't beat these grills or original Weber store parts.

I bought these flavor bars back in 2018. They fit my grill really well and lasted 5 years, but you can get comparable products for half the price.

We had lots of flaking from the grill. This grill had daily use! It got bad enough that we thought the Grill was done for but these made a real difference. We also got some new shelves. The grill looks new and is working again like a champ. Never would have guessed that a grill could be "shined up" like this! Highly recommend you look into changing out the grill parts before you give up on the current grill.

Fit

These genuine Weber flavor savers are nice and thick and super easy to install. We just lifted our old ones out and placed these guys in. They fit perfectly and make the food taste great with no gas smell. Immediate satisfaction was achieved when we saw the shiny new insides of our old grill. These flavor savers are worth every penny. Struggled to find a set of these for our weber bbq so really happy with these. The last lot lasted ages, so fingers crossed these do exactly the same

replacement perfect--i now take the ones out after every bbq and soak for a few minutes in hot water then wipe with sos pad- if you do this they will last forever-- i bbq almost every day winter included and these are really easy to keep clean as new--but you must clean them before they get too clogged with grease etc.
