Thick plastic, well made. A must purchase when buying pitcher. Keeps "bevi's" cold for a long time.

Purchase the pitcher with this Glacier Pak. Fits perfect in the intended slot and keeps the drink cold through three fill-ups over a couple hours! A great product that I would surely purchase again!

Nice addition to polar pitcher.
perfect addition to the pitcher. Best to freeze on laying on it's side. Made the mistake of freezing upright and would not fit in pitcher container.

Use with the Polor ICE Pitcher
Nice and needed companion to the Polar Ice Pitcher.. Only wish I could have ordered the Pitcher, Top and the Glacier Pak all at the same time. shipping from the company was a bit costly.

Perfect.
Keeps beverages nice and cold. I bought two because I wasn't sure how it worked. After going through two 're-fills and still being ice cold. Oh well now I have a spare.

Better than Ice
The Polar Ice pitcher has a chamber for ice. This fits inside that chamber, an option that replaces ice. This solves a problem. To load the pitcher with ice, it pretty much needs to be empty or you need to be really, really quick because it loads from the bottom outside. The Glacier Pak solves that problem, you can easily insert it with content in the pitcher. Second, there's no mess from the melted ice. There is a slight problem, the Glacier pak doesn't touch the aluminum wall of the ice chamber so there's a bit of an air pocket insulator. But it still works and seems to last longer than ice.
