Bulkniu Cat Litter Mat, 24"x30", Waterproof, Durable & Easy to Clean, Grey

I have a smaller version of this litter rug, and it works great, but the cats tend to rush out of the box and litter flings further than where the rug covers. This one covers a good amount of space. One of the better rugs i've tried. This style really does allow litter to fall down into the little openings, out of the way, and wont be stepped on or kicked around any further. It stays there till you dump it out. The only downside really is that with the larger mat, it's harder to dump it as accurately right over the litter box. I think partly because it's still new. It came folded, so some of the folds are still getting worn in and flattened. That makes it harder to bend it in the center and pour, so eventually it should get easier. (And the litter box is under the counter, so there's limited space to move.) I think it could have a better non slip backing, because it does slide around a bit on the hard floor. But it is easy to wipe clean or wash if need be. The top grid is a bit squishy like foam of some sort. Not hard to stand on, or uncomfortable at all. And i don't have to walk over the little sharp litter rocks anymore. It catches most of them in the mat and they don't get strewn about in the hallway anymore. Very nice, Great mat!

This is my first “litter trapping” mat so I went with this inexpensive brand and I gotta say this concept work and I like it. There’s a lot of factors that go into why or how much sand our cats track like the type of sand used and how long their hair is - but regardless of you have the best sand and short hair, we will universally experience the issue of sand sticking to their wet fur. I’ve tried other mats in the past that were made of rubber/silicone with little indentations to “trap” the sand. The issue with those is that if you walked over or bumped into the mat the sand would jump up from out of it making the same mess. This concept and design - widely used across multiple brands on Amazon - simply works. And I mention this because as much as I love this product I also wonder what other mats and additional features this design offers if I allowed myself to spend a little more. But since this was purchased to experiment with here are my thoughts: Pros: - Function: the hexagonal shapes are thin enough and raised high enough that most litter will be trapped in. In fact if the cats have a little bit of sand on their leg and gently lift and drop them over the mat to shake off the sand. - Cleaning: This model has a slit on one end allowing you to fold the mat, carry it outside and shake off the sand that will slide out from the slit. Additionally, rinsing with water (without drenching it) proved to have no adverse effects on the mat. Cons: - Materials: The mat has overall lightweight construction which may result in the same issue with those silicone mats where an accidental bumping into might shake up and rattle the sand already captured to outside of the mat. I’ve only encountered this a handful of times over a few months and each time it was not as drastic as the messes left behind by those silicone mats. - If this mat weighed more I’d feel more comfortable about it’s long-term durability plus preventing the issue of the mat moving a lot when bumped into or walked over. - Sizes: This is more of a detractor for all brands and types of litter box mats, but I think with people living from small apartments to large homes there should be more options for mat sizes and shapes. Conclusion: Overall, after a few months of use, I can say that for the price this is an absolute great value. In fact, I’m wondering if this could be used as a mat for the front door to trap in pebbles and dirt. So that goes to show how much I enjoy this design. However, If this is not your first litter trapping “black hole” mat and if you’re looking for something “better” or “larger”, you should know that I consider this a mat for those with budget in mind or those that want to try one for the first time. I will stick with this mat for now but if the manufacturer offers heavier one with different materials or different sizes I would upgrade to one in a heartbeat. - In the meantime, I’ll enjoy this design and less cleaning.

This mat really does capture the litter and prevents the litter tracking on the floor. You can either pour it out directly into the garbage or back into the box since it’s like a pocket. Covers a substantial area and my girl is not adverse to walking on it.

We do not get as much cat litter on the floor. However, We still get cat litter on the floor we have changed the mat from length to horizontal and back. Neither direction makes a difference with our cat. We purchased the largest size mat. Almost think we need a kiddie pool to prevent cat litter from this cat. Lol.

Seems to be working well

These work to capture the litter that comes with the cat as it exits the litter box. So that's good. However, I am surprised that these mats are rectangular because they only function if and when the cat comes out of the litter box in a straight line. My cats do not come out in a straight line. So these pads capture some of the litter that comes out of the litter box, but to both sides of the pads there still is litter all over the floor. In conclusion, these pads would be much more useful, meaning capturing more of the litter that exits the litter box if they were more circular in shape, as I've drawn in the image.

Lorsque je l'ai reçu il me sembait très rigide, car il avait passé plusieurs jours dans ma boîte aux lettres en hiver, mais en revenant à la température de la pièce, il a repris sa flexibilité et semble très bien! la largeur est un peu juste pour 2 litières, mais le produit fonctionne bien et il est de la bonne couleur.
