FIRSTINFO Certified Limiting Torque Screwdriver 10-90 in-lbs with T-Handle

This torque limiting screwdriver is exactly what you need when you are working with carbide inserts for various wood working tools. I work as a solar/battery installer. Manufacturers are very picky about having specific torque applied to the cable, connectors, and other equipment. I like this a tool since it is torque-limiting rather than a torque-indicating driver, because it prevents too much torque from being applied if you aren't paying close enough attention. My boss spent more money on a Wiha, and we compared the accuracy out of the box. They are so close it is not discernable by hand, even at the top end of the range. They sent the calibration/test sheet that indicated my driver is about 1.5 in-lb over what is indicated at mid and higher levels, and only .8 in-lb over at the lower end. I just adjust the setting accordingly to fall within the manufacturers' parameters, so it's very easy to get around (if even necessary, most manufacturers give a 5 in-lb torque range, YMMV). It was a little difficult to see how the scale lines up, on mine it is a bit below the horizontal indicator when the zero hits the center line for the in-lb scale. Once I figured it out, it's easy to see, and there are 20 in-lb per revolution of the handle. Time will tell if it holds up like the much spendier Wiha. Instruction manual/sheet says to get it calibrated after 30k clicks, so that will probably be a bit over a year for me. I will update this if I need to, otherwise I am very happy with my purchase.

Generally I am pretty happy with my new torque driver. My biggest complaint is that the 2 pound increments at the adjustment ring (20 lbs per full rotation) are not easily translated to the 10/30/50..... markings on the shaft. I will probably scratch 10 lb lines into the shaft to more easily determine where the torque is set. I also wish that the driver came with a decent t handle that snaps into the 1/4 inch hole in the handle. not coming with one did not keep me from getting this one and would not keep me from getting another. The one star off is because of the difficulty in figuring out what torque setting you have.

Just purchased this to use in torquing electrical connections with my solar install. Worked great although takes some getting used to how the torque release works when you're accustomed to "click" type torque wrenches. My connections had previously been torqued only by feel and most of them were under torqued, which is not good.

I needed a torque wrench for electrical work. This was easy to adjust, felt solid, and performed well. I easily tightened to 50 in-lb. I appreciate the calibration sheet. It increased my confidence that the unit is within spec. I would have liked a better case. What’s provided is fine to protect it and for occasional use. Also it’s compact. However, for regular use would be a little inconvenient.

If you need an inch-lb torque wrench, this is a good one. I’m happy with it so far - no complaints.

This feeds really well made. I tested it at work and as recieved it was repeateble to within 1% and accurate to within 2%. It'll be great for working on my rifles.

well packed, seems solid and good quality, only used it a couple of times, easy to use but you can not half set the torque ie; if you require 17 inch lbs you would have to set it at 16 or 18 inch lbs.

Works great for rifle scope mounting. Seems same as vortex brand

This is great quality, I check toque calibration and it's spot on out of the box. I use this for servicing my guns and worth every cent. Recommended for sure.
