At last! an Affordable and appreciated product in a vegetarian protein meat substitute.
A real value. Compared price per ounce it is the best bargin out there. Flavorless, it allows for versitillity in cooking various dishes, easy to use, and much less expensive than other flavored (and not) products. Great storage life also. Excellet protein source Can be substituted for ground meat of many kinds as it can be flavored with endless combinations of spices. Fun to explore the possibilities. A great THANK YOU to the company for meeting the needs of many vegetarians in a thoughtful and honest product.

Easy to use and incorporate into meals
This is a quality non-GMO TVP that I’ve been using for a while. It’s helps me incorporate more plant-based protein into my meals. I feel good knowing that it’s supporting my health. I add it to chili and soups. Meat eaters don’t realize that it isn’t meat. The texture mimics actual meat. It absorbs the flavor of the liquid. I’ll keep purchasing this brand for this and their other products.

If you are looking for the best vegan protein - you have found the right one here
This is truly the best meat alterative protein I have ever tried -- texture and taste is amazing - just used it in lasagna - Bolognese was incredible

Good, easy to use.
Takes spices well and is easy to cook. I threw it in a pan with water, oil, and spices and cooked it till the water was absorbed and it looked like ground beef. Has the same texture as ground beef and tastes like whatever you flavor it to be.

Could’ve given reconstruction instructions
I’ve only used TVP a couple of times in the distant past, so I’m going from memory in comparing Anthony’s to those. This seems like a very good TVP in terms of consistency and flavor (it has none). I‘ve added flavorings consistent with what I’ll be cooking when reconstituting it, and it absorbs those well. It reconstitutes to a usable consistency in just a few minutes using really hot water. I haven’t tried baking something (like meatloaf) with it yet, but I can’t distinguish it from ground meat when using it in tacos, spaghetti, etc. I like the amount of product in the package (good for small storage spaces), and the fact that it’s resealable (with a GOOD seal). The value for the price is great, IMO. My one complaint is with the complete lack of reconstitution instructions on the packaging, which is the reason for my 4 vs 5 star rating. There’s PLENTY of room on the package to add those instructions or suggestions; they just didn’t bother to. Other than that, I highly recommend this TVP.

Easy boost of protein
I tried a recipe that included cooking with quinoa. Texture was great and you could hardly tell the difference. Perfect for extra boost of protein and weekly meal prep. Absorbed flavors well too. I’ll be purchasing again

Good quality vegetable protein. Easy to use.
This was my first time using TVP and I have to say it went into my pasta sauce really well. I think I underestimated the amount of TVP I could put into a jar of sauce though. Not quite as easy to meet my protein goals with as I thought. Now I need to come up with some new ideas on how to use it. Definitely would recommend though. Much easier than trying to crumble up tofu.

Great snack! Loaded pure protein! Mixes with just about anything!
This is great if you are low on money and want to stay alive on a budget. I am not embarrassed to say I have been struggling financially and have been living on bananas, peanut butter, oats and TVP. I literally eat it straight out of the bag as a crunchy treat. A cup full is half my daily protein needs! Awesome value! says it is flavorless but it does have kind of a nutty toasted flavor when dry. I rehydrated it and mix it with refried beans and put it on tortillas with veggies and it is great!
