Great product! I've used it for many years. I have well water, which is hard on colored or highlighted hair. This shampoo leaves no residue & keeps your highlights looking bright & your hair healthy!

I have been using this purple shampoo for years. It is a very dark, violet-blue color, which cancels out orange/brassy tones in hair. I have used this product when I was a platinum blonde and when I returned to my brunette hair with blonde highlights. As you use the product, it gradually tones the hair. For my blonde highlights, it maintains a cool ash blonde tone. If I leave it on more than four to five minutes, then it will take on a silver/purple tone. It will eventually wash out if you stop using it. It does stain my fingernails, so minor scrubbing removes it. If shampoo is spilled and not removed/rinsed off, it will stain the shower. Eventually the stain will wear off. I really like this shampoo as it maintains the blonde tone that I love. I recommend this product highly.

I have bleach blonde hair so purple shampoo is a MUST. I have tried so many different brands: Joico, Matrix, Pravana, Ion, you name it! This is by far my favorite one as far as keeping my color goes! I use a small amount (quarter size) and let it sit for only 30 seconds.... if you want that silver look then I would leave in for longer. The smell is nothing special but it doesn't smell horrible, so no complaints there. This bottle is HUGE and definitely worth the price for any fellow blondie!

Keeps my white/silver hair bright. I also have dark purple highlights/streaks, and this shampoo is very gentle on color - no fading. Has a pleasant fragrance, not too strong. This large size bottle is the most economical way to buy. I put some in a smaller bottle for ease of use. **Update** I’ve bought this 5 times over the past several years, most recently January 2023 when the price was still approx. $24. Now December 2023 price is $52!!! Crazy. Got to be a mistake. If not, I’ll be looking for something else.

Great at correcting yellow tones, but strips away all moisture from the hair, I was using it weekly and had never seen my hair so dry in my life, no conditioner seemed to work after this, so I had to start using it only once a month, it’s pretty strong

After going to cosmetology school and having highlights most of my life, I've tried all kinds of purple shampoos. This one is by far the best. I lather it up and do whatever else I need to do in the shower and by the time I'm done, my blonde is the perfect platinum/ash color that I love. It can also be used as a toner that you place on damp hair, cover with plastic and leave on until your desired color. It is never harsh on my hair. I can even get away with not conditioning if I have to. I absolutely love it.

I'm liking this shampoo a lot. So much so that, after using a small bottle, I sprang for the large salon size. I was nervous about using a purple shampoo. And this is dark, inky purple. Would I have lavender hair? Would it leave stains in the shower? But no. No stains. And my hair is just bright and silver, with no discernible color added. And the texture feels really good -- silky, but with body, as well. For someone with gray/silver/platinum hair, I highly recommend it.

Silver shampoos are I've discovered all very personal and relative to individual use but this is the one for me. I use this half and half in my hand mixed with a regular shampoo 2-3 times a week and on its own maybe once a fortnight. But it works perfectly!! It is violently purple which worried me at first hence the half and half but honestly it hasn't dulled my hair or made it muddy looking as some do . I chased a lady with sparkling white hair down a street to find out which shampoo to use on my grey hair and this was the one she used. She was spot on its great and at this price for this size - bargain!!

Ich habe bereits Silbershampoo von Ghul u.Ä. ausprobiert, um den starken Gelb/Orange-Stich in meinen blondierten Haaren (bin von Natur aus blond, habe aber Jahrelang dunkelbraun gefärbt und wollte nun wieder zurück zu meiner Naturhaarfarbe) zu verringern, allerdings hatte ich mit Drogerieprodukten so gut wie keinen Erfolg. Über ein Video auf Youtube bin ich auf dieses Shampoo aufmerksam geworden, habe es bestellt, bisher einmal benutzt und bin absolut begeistert. Bereits nach einer Anwendung habe ich nur noch in den unteren Haarpartien einen leichten Gelbstich (vorher waren sie an diesen Stellen fast orange), der wahrscheinlich nach dem nächsten Waschen auch ganz verschwinden wird. Der Unterschied nach nur einmaligem Waschen ist sensationell. Nach meinem letzten Friseurbesuch hatten meine Haare einen kühlen Blondton (es wurde mit Lila nachgefärbt), der sich aber leider nicht lange gehalten hat und ich war schon fast am verzweifeln, weil ich mir so bald einen erneuten Besuch beim Friseur nicht hätte leisten können. Ich bin sowas von froh, dieses Shampoo gefunden zu haben und kann es allen, die einen nervigen Gelbstich haben, wirklich nur weiterempfehlen. Aber Vorsicht bei der Einwirkzeit! In einigen Kommentaren, habe ich gelesen, dass manche das Shampoo zum Teil 15 Minuten bis 2 Stunden einwirken lassen. Da der Gelbstich in meinen Haaren wirklich stark war, habe ich es auch ca. 5 Minuten einwirken lassen. An Stellen, an denen meine Haare relativ hell waren, ist bei sehr genauerer Betrachtung schon ein leichter Lila-Schimmer zu sehen. Also ich empfehle das Shampoo wirklich nur kurz einwirken zu lassen, das reicht völlig aus, der Unterschied ist trotzdem immens. Die große Flasche ist etwas unhandlich, deswegen habe ich direkt etwas Shampoo in ein kleineres Fläschchen abgefüllt, aber das ist bei einer 1L-Flasche ja irgendwie zu erwarten. Fazit: Top Produkt, was wirklich hält, was es verspricht!
