PUMA Unisex Smash V2Running Shoes

Marketed as trainers for running is the only negative comment I can make against this product; they are not suitable for serious running. As a casual trainer for either social or light exercise they are very good and exceptionally good value at less than £27! Carrying the Puma logo, the trainers look good in casual wear and I would suggest more suited for this type of dress than more expensive items, particularly for the older wearer such as me. Comfortable, a nice fit, I anticipate that these shoes will be ideal for social wear throughout the summer. Manufactured to a decent standard, they fit well. I am sure that you could run in them, however, there are better products than this for running with better grip, impact absorption and ankle support.

I was looking for some trainers for a birthday present for my dad, and came across these. I like Puma trainers as they are so comfortable, having owned a pair of Puma myself, I thought my dad would find them comfortable with all the walking he does. I wanted to find a colour more suited to him, so these were perfect being blue. They’re a lovely colour blue, like a Royal Navy colour. They were available at a great price too so I took the chance and bought them. I checked them over before giving them to my dad as a present. They arrived in the original Puma packaging and looked great. I gave them to my dad and he was so happy! He tried them on straight away and said they were perfect size and he loved the style. My dad’s had the trainers a little while now and wears them daily. He said they’re so comfortable, lightweight and easy to clean. So I was delighted to hear that! Anyone considering buying these, just do it! You won’t regret it!!

Nice shoe for general wear but not for people with wide feet. I found the shoe a little narrow and I like wider fit due to wearing zero drop shoes most of the time. I like the insole, it has great cushioning.

Very comfortable

This is my second pair of Puma Smash V2's purchased as I'm planning on doing more walking this year and the comfort and fit of these Trainers is perfect for me. They run true to size, as other have mentioned in reviews, at first they can feel a tiny bit tight but thats because they are still box fresh and need wearing in so that they take on the shape of your foot. Once you've worn them a few times they become as comfortable as slippers. For the price they are exceptional value, I've owned far more expensive trainers before and found that they don't always live up to the reality of repeated wear, these trainers do, and I like that the memory foam insert is removable and replaceable which really extends the life of the Trainers. Nice range of colour ways as well.

For reference I'm usually a UK size 9 in trainers and sometimes 10 in boots. Have almost exclusively worn converse star players and the standard all star ox canvas for the last 10 years. I was surprised to wear a trainer that looked this large in comparison. But they fit pretty well and look great. Haven't broken them in yet so the toe box feels quite roomy at the moment and the leather upper is still stiff. I'm sure once I've creased them up in a month or so they'll feel softer and look better - not too keen on new looking trainers myself - prefer them a little worn in. I haven't got wide feet but I might try an 8.5. These will be my go to trainers for work. There's about 1cm of room in front of my big toe and plenty of wiggle room for all the others.

I saw these trending on a certain UK bargains site and could barely believe that proper Puma trainers were going so cheap. I rarely wear trainers, but when I do, I like the look, quality and feel of the Puma range; they have that suede effect that means they can pass off as shoes too. The all-black upper part is gorgeous and acts as a great contrast to the caramel soul. I bought size 9 and it was a little tight initially, but it gradually became a bit more malleable. The quality of the stitching and general look is exceptional for the price - I could imagine paying twice as much, and I'm not a fashionable person (as anyone who knows me will attest). Someone who IS really into fashion is Mrs Pugh and when I bought mine and she saw how good they looked, she promptly bought a pair for herself! Very happy with these.

Fairly comfortable and with a nice classic look, these are good for the price. Only thing to be aware of is that the interior is made of plastic foam and a thin kayer of plastic, with a fabric layer either side. This wears through quite quickly, so for everyday use, if you do about an hour of walking in them like me they basically need replacing every 3 months, which is a bit disappointing.
