Myojo Udon Japanese Style Noodles with Soup Base, Chicken Flavor, 7.23-Ounce Bag (Pack of 15)

These are definitely my favorite noodle. The flavor is amazing. The texture of the noodle is perfect. The quality of this is great. Super eazy to i prepare, and fast to make. And to top it off it's super cheap for the size of the pack.

Myojo are my favorite Udon noodles of any available products. I can cook them up and enjoy them with or without the soup base - the chicken flavor is great and very savory. But having them with butter and soy sauce is also an option, or as a side to stir fry! By all means give them a try, easy prep work and cleanup!

The noodles, by themselves, are great -- exactly as I expected, the thick traditional Japanese Udon. So good that I have been eating them almost everyday for the past month. The problem, however, are the seasoning packs: half of them are wet. Yes, the seasoning, which are supposed to be in powder form, are wet, and I had to use chopsticks to dig the thick paste out from their package. If it's moist, then I guess their seasoning package is not air-proof, which is a minus on food safely. I have no idea what bacteria are in there. Some fungus even. If it's in there from the beginning, then it's even worse -- I have no idea what the liquid is. I guess it's just my bad luck and I got a bad bunch, but I want to put this out there, and make everyone aware that this might happen.

The noodles taste authentic. I usually use my own broth and cut up a chicken breast into strips to put on top. Makes a meal.

I definitely boil it to get rid of some of the starchy taste, but after that you can do virtually anything with it. I've even dumped Velveeta on it and made mac and cheese lol. The noodles themselves are in their own vacuum sealed bag inside the packaging, with the spicepack on the outside of that.

I was not expecting this broth to be so salty! It does remind me a lot of chicken noodle soup but just very salty and slightly sweet. To be fair it's all on me for not look at the ingredients as the first one is salt and the third is MSG (flavor enhancer and its salty too) and salt in some of the later ingredients. TIP: The first few ingredients of a food item makes up most of the item (meaning this products broth main ingredients are salt and sugar)

I ordered these because I love udon and love the original chicken flavor udon I had in the past. These were not the same product and there was no option to return. The product received was in a blue package and was ARTIFICIAL chicken flavor. The soup base is not good and the udon has a somewhat sour taste and smell. I’m not sure if I received a wrong order or if this is being falsely advertised. Either way, don’t order this product. Bad taste. Bad customer service. No return. Not the pictures product.

I love these udon noodles, and the store near me stopped selling them. The price is awesome for the quantity you get. At the store they were almost $4 a pack, these come to about $1.66 a pack and they were fresher then the ones at the store.
