This warmer is not just for towels. You can put your pj’s, robe , slippers, pillow cases, a sweater, and so on to give you a warm up. It does not take up much room, and looks good too. I would purchase again!

Great product , works very well, very fast at heating towels

Heats an extra large towel or two large towels in around 15 minutes. It works better if you fold the towels in half and roll them loosely before putting them in the warmer. Does not work well on towels with synthetic decoration or embroidery, which will melt. Has settings for 15, 30 or 45 minutes but the longer settings sometimes cause a burning smell even on my original unit. I bought this originally back in March and it worked really well for about nine months and then it started to click and not work at all. I contacted the company because it said it had a warranty and they replaced the unit for me for free. The Replacement unit has a bit on the inside where part of the inner rim sticks out, which smells like burning plastic on both of the longer time settings (see photo with one extra large loosely rolled towel in the warmer). My first warmer was smooth around the inside rim. I was pleasantly surprised about getting the replacement. It made chilly mornings where we didn’t want to turn on the heat since it usually warms up here during the day much nicer. I think it would be a good gift if you trust the recipient to let you know about a problem or have enough initiative on their own to contact the company.

I read other reviews before purchasing this item and found them helpful so I hope this is also helpful to those considering what should be a great product but is not one I would recommend based on their customer support. tl;dr: they asked me to destroy the unit to get a replacement, now won't send a replacement unless I pay for shipping of the old unit, and have sent no info on where to send it. NOPE! It came in a large box and was packaged just fine. I took it out and tried it to make sure it worked and it worked properly. It was still relatively warm outside (August when it was on sale) so I didn't use this often but had planned to use it when things got colder. Cue the cold weather and one of the heating elements doesn't work anymore. The edge of the towel gets hot and the rest is room temperature. I reached out to support since the return window had closed on Amazon. The rep asked me to send a picture of the unit with the cord cut. Then they would send out a replacement. Puzzling but I complied and sent a picture. It was not clear enough for them to approve. I sent additional photos (included here) and offered to shoot a video or even zoom with them to prove that the cord was cut. Live Fine's response, "Unfortunately the opportunity for photo verification has been lost, we require the unit in our warehouse before a replacement can be shipped out. Your RMA is authorized. Once your defective unit is received and processed, your warranty will be fulfilled." I explained to them that I'm concerned that I'm shipping this back at my own expense and that there are plenty of ways for them to not send me a replacement. I could easily be out my original payment, return shipping of a device I was told to destroy, and not have anything to show for it. That was five days ago. I haven't heard back and they have never even sent the address of the warehouse or what to put on (or in) the box to know it's mine. If yours still works after two months and you don't have to deal with customer service, consider yourself very lucky. I'll toss this one in the trash with $100+ lesson learned and gamble with another company...any other one.
