I never before bought DVD player that was not a name brand . I have a Sony DVD player ,but it has region restriction and I did not know this . I wanted to play a DVD that was a import and would not play . So I bought this particular small compact DVD player with no region restriction and it gives a great picture and works great . It comes with all the cables too. It fits also right on top of my Sony , I made a good purchase .

For the price, this has so far been a good DVD player. No player I have ever had lasted a long time, so I was looking for one that I can consider a "throw away" if it acts up. It set-up easily, has good sound and picture quality, and the mechanism runs quietly. The remote is well laid out and easy to read. I do not have many DVD's but some are ones I wanted to watch again, thus this purchase.

This compact dvd player was easy to install. It came with the proper cables to connect to my TV. The directions wete asy to follow. I use this dvd player for my grandchildren to watch movies. There is a clearly marked remote with it. The player provides clear videos and is lightweight and quiet. It was reasonably priced and arrived on time.

I purchased this unit because it has RCA Output Jacks that can directly connect to my older stereo unit to play MP3s without using a TV. Thankfully, I registered the warranty as suggested by the seller before using the player. When I tried the unit received from Amazon, it was defective as the first disc used got scratched. I contacted the seller and their service is excellent as I promptly received a replacement unit shipped in a box with padding. This unit works great, but unfortunately it has a problem reading a closed CD-R filled with MP3s. That is, over 200 tracks and up to 699 MB of data. It sees my discs as what appears to be an overfilled audio CD. The company is aware of the problem and has told me that they are working on an update. Meanwhile, they suggested playing the MP3s on a USB device and this works very well – maybe even better than messing with CDs! I’ve been using digital cameras since they first came out, so I have a collection of small capacity Compact Flash cards (with USB reader), SD cards (with USB reader), as well as some Flash Drives. They all work great in the Electcom’s USB port! UPDATE: Customer service has been excellent and they developed a firmware upgrade that shows you what track is playing on the player's digital display - no TV is required! This is really useful when you have over 200 tracks of instrumental music. The track number shows when a song starts and then every 30 seconds while playing. Original purchase-December 2024-unit didn't work well. Very touchy operation, but it would work. Used it infrequently, and the player got progressively worse, unit it stopped working altogether. Contacted Electcom Pro directly, and they arranged a new replacement. The new unit works much better than the original, hopefully it will remain so over time. That being said, it's a decent unit for the price, very compact, but the customer service is excellent, so it gets a good review.

This dvd player is compact and works great. I haven't tested the all region capabilities yet but everything else is great!

Heel blij met deze dvd speler: ik heb een aantal series die regio 1 zijn... en dan is een europese dvd speler niet wat je nodig hebt. Ik heb deze dvd speler nu 1 jaar en ben er nog steeds erg blij mee. Mooie kwaliteit, afstandsbediening werkt, overzichtelijk ding. Zoek je een goede en niet al te dure regiovrije dvd speler; dan is deze een aanrader

Really good DVD. I like it a lot. It plays all the different regions of DVDs I have. The picture is good, at least to me. I read before purchasing that some of the buyers had an issue with the remote. I find it absolutely all right. No issues so far. And I have quite big hands. :) Installation was quick and basically, I had to connect it and it started to work. Really good item. Very good for the price. Really small. I don't find it loud. To me is quiet. Of course, when the DVD is loading, you can hear it loading, but while watching, no issues at all. So, my personal opinion about this small DVD is 5/5. Exactly what I needed.
