Excellent customer service.
Customer service for this product is outstanding. One of the servo's had a factory defect. Sent an email to them and had a response within 10 minutes. 2 replacement sent the next day and had them in hand just 2 days later. Excellent. Only complaint is that the tutorial vidio was running too fast. Hard to follow, but a great robot arm for beginners. All part fit perfectly. ๐๐๐๐๐

MAJOR ASSEMBLY REQUIRED
The darn thing came in a small box, and to my surprise was nothing more than just a bunch of laser cut plastic or something. Burned and sooty, it stinks, and leaves residue on my fingers, when I handle the pieces. People need to post the actual product picture, as in what your actually going to get in the mail, there is so much assembly required. Not once did I think I was buying myself a major headache and work.

Bad servo, wrong instructions.
First thing. One of the servos broke down. Rotated a bit and then got stuck. I've been using these kinds of servos a lot and this is the first time it ever happen. Didn't put in screw yet, which can break them if you use too long of a screw. Was careful here. Instructions are for plastic version. Googled and kept coming up with the wrong version instructions. Finally got on microbotlabs webpage and got the correct one. Probably could have figured it out, but correct one is better. On some of the smaller parts, part of the wood came off when i gently removed the tape, but seem ok. So, assembly is stalled until i get another servo.

FunStuff.
Mearm, connected to the raspberry, operating the ubuntu, service by apache, webbed by the wordpress, points to tomcat7, programmed by java, data points memorized by mysql, get two or three guys operating the servos with their phones, FUNNY!๐

Good starter robot
Good for a first robot and a fun toy but its made of reinforced cardboard so it won't last forever.
