Mr. Stacky Self Watering 3 Tier Stackable Garden Vertical Plastic Planter Set, Hunter Green

I'm using this planter for strawberries and so far like it better than a regular strawberry pot because it is more open at each plant spot and each layer can be lifted up. In fact, right now I am using only 2 layers and will add the 3rd layer later if/when I want to add more strawberry plants. Strawberry plants send those runners you can plant if you wish. This planter could be used for any plants and I'm expecting and hoping it also holds up over the seasons left outside in the elements. Nice indoors too with the saucer under it, but good that it's an option 'cause I am not using that outside. I don't want standing water collecting outside. Good price too! I ordered white and it's very pretty on my patio. Any dirt just washes off.

I recently got into gardening. However, I am not ready yet for outdoor gardening, so I've been doing small indoor plants first like basic herbs. My herbs have been blooming and I've only been using small planters and many of the herbs have outgrown the yogurt cups, so I wanted something that can contain all my plants in one place. I found this and thought it was a good solution. I originally only used the 1st tier to see how I would like this, but as my seeds started sprouting I've been slowly building up the planter. I like that it's stackable and it is secure after clipping the top tier to the bottom tier. I also like that I only have to water from the top tier and the bottom tiers will reuse the water. It does come with a water tray at the bottom to catch any excess water. The plastic is very sturdy and best of all if there is a dirt stain, I can spray water to clean it off.

The 3 tier stackable planter is pretty decent. It looks good and is sturdy enough to hold a plant per spot. A few words of advice though...1st. check the little slots that the tabs go into on the bottom tray as the ones on mine weren't cleaned out enough and I ended up breaking one of the locking tabs. (still works fine) 2nd is put in small plants as the planting areas are fairly small. I had to put my strawberry plants in at about a 45 degree angle. But overall I thoroughly enjoy it and look forward to seeing my plants fill it in. I do recommend it. I will update this at that time with a couple of pictures.

I love me some hens and chicks. But I don't love terra cotta strawberry planters which have up until this point been the best option for growing them in pots. Enter this 3 Tier Stackable Garden. It's a game changer. I've never gotten compliments on my hens and chicks planters until I switched to this one. Since I switched almost everyone that has visited has complimented the planter. In almost every way it beats the terra cotta planter. Setup couldn't have been easier. Because it's stackable, I can add extra levels as my hens and chicks multiply, and if anything needs to be replaced or moved making those changes is possible whereas in the traditional pot it's a lot more effort to make changes. As far as the watering system it seems to be doing a good job of distributing water evenly across every level. My only real complaint is with the light colored stacker, dirt tends to collect in the bowl at the bottom and it's noticeable. That wouldn't be as obvious with the darker colored stackers.

This appeared to be a great planter for multiple plants, but unless you place this in an open area with direct sun so that all sides get lit at some point of the day you'll end up rotating this daily. Also the self watering bit is a stretch of the truth - you water the top and in theory the water spreads to the lower parts. What I found is that water goes straight down, not to the edges of each individual section where you would have plants - these plants needed individual watering as if they were in separate containers. So I'm not sure if this planter works for me - too much hassle rotating the unit each day and harder to water each section, which is what I was trying to avoid by buying this. Sure, it looks great and is fairly sturdy, but no I would not buy again.

Good quality. Easy to assemble and holds together well. Using for strawberries and very happy with how it is working for that.

I love Mr. Stacky. This is such a fantastic vertical planter. I used it to plant a variety of herbs, such as thyme, parsley, basil, as well as chives and strawberry plants. All of the plants are doing extremely well.

Great product for herbs. Love it.

This was very, very disappointing and I think misleading to claim it is made of some when the material is plastic! Very expensive at the price and not a happy customer
