From now on, I plan to bag or re-bag all my comic books, whether silver, modern or current sizes, with these crystal clear mylar bags. This "standard" size bag, combined with a 7" board, more than adequately supports the entire book, with a good fit and an appreciable margin that extends beyond all sides, for the vast majority of the books in my collection. Some thicker books may be too tight in this bag, but thus far I've found it to be a okay for some thicker annuals or specials up to 64 pages.

I didn't realize that my 90s comics aren't the same size as comics made today so I accidentally bought these. So I thought, oh well, I can use them for newer comics. Later, after I got some newer comics, putting them in these bags convinced me: these are the best. Pair these bags with a fullback board (or thicker, but be sure it's buffered) and you've got yourself some archival storage! I should say though that these are overpriced on sites like this one and some auction site. Mylar was a limited commodity during the pandemic, but not anymore so it's time for the price to go back down a bit. It's a shame that the manufacturer has a steep minimum order, but I'd say to spring for that when you can, and teach the scalpers a lesson.

I had heard about these and that they are the way to go. I read the reviews from others saying they won't go back to poly bags. I'm thinking ok they are probably nice but they are expensive and for the price I can't see myself switching over. Maybe just for my nice books. When my order came in I was blow away by these. They are so sturdy. So clear and clean. And make the book look great. I can't believe how I was won over with such doubt already in my mind. That really never happens. I've already ordered more and feel I need most of my collection in these now. Also the fact that these should never go bad I won't have to ever order another bag for each comic. In the past I was buying more poly bags as the older ones got bad. This actually means in the end, in the long run, I could save money by buying these bags.

Been a big Mylite 2 fan for many years. I typically buy the Silver and Golden Age size. I usually buy bulk direct from E. Gerber. I wanted to try some Standard Size so I thought I would get some on Amazon where I could just buy a few to try out. The quality is as always with E. Gerber Mylite 2, EXCELLENT. It turns out that the Standard size works well for what I need, so I will be making a bulk purchase through E. Gerber directly. I think buying through Amazon is a great option if you want just a few Mylite 2 bags. I really like the folks at E. Gerber, but the Amazon online purchasing process for a very small order does make it easier. GOOD NEWS! Looks like E. Gerber is going to have online purchasing before too long.
