The Dymo Labeling tape arrived on schedule (if memory serves me correctly it was even a day early). The product is exactly as described and arrives packed very well - no chance of the tape cartridges being damaged. It works quite well with the "Plug and Play" DYMO labeling machine that plugs right into your PC with a USB. You do have to purchase the small machine separately. The tapes come in black ink and blue ink (perhaps other colors but black and blue is all I use. ) I believe the machine has instructions but it is so easy to use, you don't need instructions. Also you choose the size of tape and when on the PC you determine size and style of font and length of label. If you have many things to label and keep track of as I do, I don't think you will find a better product. The vendor on Amazon is fast and efficient and very careful about packing their product.

The big deal for me was the price, so this rating should actually go to Amazon instead of to DYMO. I bought the label MAKER on sale at Staples. Looked for additional tape and found it for almost 3 times the sale price of the label maker. Went to the DYMO Website and found it listed for a little more than twice the sale price of the label maker. Then went to Amazon (don't know why I didn't START there) and found it for about the same price as the sale priced label maker. Way to go Amazon!!! Oh, BTW, The tape does what it is supposed to do, and very nicely.

It is hard to get information about how this more expensive "Permanent" D1 tape differs from standard D1 tape. It looks identical -- same sheen and feel (the "Flexible Nylon" D1 tape does look different). I contacted DYMO, and they responded with: - The standard D1 tapes are meant to be removable. - The Permanent D1's have a higher grade adhesive and are made to be longer lasting than the standard D1's. - I wouldn't recommend using the Permanent D1's if you do plan on removing the label or using it as a temporary thing. - Both of these are durable and but the Permanent D1's do withstand the elements better than the standard D1's. - All in all the main purpose of the Permanent D1's was for industrial use. I can clearly feel that the adhesive is stronger. I haven't tried it outside to see how much longer it lasts in the presence of UV and rain; I have found other thermal transfer tapes don't last long in direct sunlight.

Perfect. Great price, quick delivery. I live in a rural area so having this delivered to my house is the best. I use this for a lot of things.

I have been using split-back tape in my label makers for awhile now and am very pleased with it. I like the advantage of being able to peel off the top half of the label's tape and set the label in place using the top sticky portion to hold the label where I want it. Then i peel off the lower portion of the backing and 'seal the deal'. I get consistently good results using this method.

I use my battery operated Dymo labeler for lots of different things from paper to plastic. The replacement cartridge is easy to install even for someone mechanically challenged like me. My only problem is that the sticky stuff is not very strong, so sometimes I need to add a little hot glue for adhesion.

Bought these for my daughter's machine to have refills & backups before senior year began. Items arrived unopened, unused, exactly as described, flawlessly packed and with timely arrival, too. I will continue reordering her labeler needs from this reliable and relatively frugal source. An added bonus: I now open the refrigerator to find my quarts of gelled stock labeled with contents & date; when decanting some snacks into a storage jar, she excused herself from the room - and returned with a tidy label in-hand; and best of all, all her senior year / SAT / college & university application, etc paperwork is now flawlessly organized, filed, and... neatly labeled! Stopping now to go give her a big hug! Who knew label maker's tape could improve the family dynamic?

These labels work great and adhere securely to wires without any additional tape. The problem I've found is that the label tape does not feed smoothly out of the cartridge. It seems like the tape is sticking to itself inside the cartridge. I have to pull on the tape as it exits the label printer or else I get a jam error and have to start over. I end up wasting a lot of tape because I have to always leave some tape hanging out of the machine to pull on. At the end of the day I'd probably order again since it sticks so well, but it's still a pain.
