Excellent in all major respects; Some minor annoyances
I finally switched to Beetel after almost 20 years of using Panasonic cordless phones. What made me switch is that it was getting harder and harder for me to hear (due to my age). So I needed a phone with loud handset volume. Unfortunately, none of the Panasonics I used had that. I decided to try Beetel based on the reviews. It has been 8 days so far, and I am definitely happy with the volume. You can separately adjust the volume of the ringer, the handset, the built-in speaker phone, and even the key press tones. Battery life, of course, remains to be seen over the long term. But in the first 8 days, it has been excellent. (Note: I charged the batteries for a full night before first use, as recommended in the user manual). I am using it for the free landline connection that I get along with my Jio fiber broadband connection. No problems whatsoever. There are only 2 reasons why I gave 4 stars instead of 5 stars: 1. The keypad is backlit, but only the number keys. The call/disconnect/menu/volume/ etc keys do not have a backlight. 2. There is a sticker on the back of the handset with some initial instructions. But it is almost impossible to remove the sticker. A very cheap quality of gum has been used, and it leaves a sticky, messy residue. I wish they had used a simple post-it note instead. Overall, I would recommend this phone. UPDATE AFTER 7 MONTHS OF USE 1. Battery life is excellent. If I charge it fully overnight, the battery typically lasts for 2 to 4 days. Of course, my usage is not very heavy - approximately 3 hours of talktime per day (sometimes using speakerphone), and NO intermittent charging. 2. One more minor annoyance with the phonebook: If you want to search for a phonebook entry beginning with a certain letter (for example "R"), you have to press the relevant number key (for example "7"), start searching with the first letter for that key (for example "P"), and then manually scroll down to the letter you want for example "R"). This is annoying. In Panasonic phones, if i want to search for R, I press the key three times, and it goes from P to Q to R.

Incomplete Caller ID & Bad Audio โ Not Worth Buying
The caller ID defeats its entire purpose โ the phone doesnโt even display the full 10-digit number. It shows something like 86494782_ and cuts off the rest, making it practically useless for identifying incoming calls. On top of that, the ringing volume is poor and the overall audio quality is below average. The only positive is that the unit looks decent, but beyond appearance, it really doesnโt deliver. Iโm honestly surprised that Beetel is pushing such low-quality, cheaply made units into the market. Definitely not worth recommending.

Very low sound
Working fine, but voice is very low, very very low, fine with a range from 1/2 room not more than that.

Ok at this price. Display font and backlight could be better.
Summary The Beetel X73N is a straightforward cordless landline handset that delivers acceptable performance for everyday home or small-office use. It covers the basics reliably but falls short in a few modest areas. Design and Build The handset feels solid in hand and shows reasonable build quality for its price range. The materials and assembly are adequate; there are no obvious weak points or creaky parts. The charging cradle is stable and holds the handset securely. Audio and Ring Performance Call clarity is satisfactory for typical voice conversations. The ring volume is adequate to alert users in most home environments. If you need a very loud ringer for noisy spaces, this model may not be the best choice, but for normal use the level is fine. Display and Backlight The display is functional but uninspiring. The backlight and contrast are on the weaker side, making the screen harder to read in dim lighting. Improved backlighting and a clearer display would make the handset easier to use, especially for quick checks of caller ID or menu navigation. Battery and Range Battery life is acceptable for routine daily use; it lasts through normal calling patterns without frequent recharge. Range within a typical house is reliable, with no major dropouts in adjacent rooms. Features and Usability The X73N covers standard features expected from a cordless landline phone: caller ID, call logs, redial, and basic menu options. The interface is serviceable, though navigating menus can feel a bit dated compared with newer models that offer crisper displays and more intuitive controls. Value and Overall Impression Given its strengths and weaknesses, the Beetel X73N is an okay, no-frills cordless phone. Build quality and ring volume meet expectations, while the display and backlight leave room for improvement. If you want a basic cordless handset that performs the essentials without extras, this is a reasonable option. If display readability and stronger backlighting are important to you, consider looking at alternatives.
