Gooseneck Tablet Mount Holder for Bed - Flexible Tablet Arm Clamp for Bed Compatible with Pad Mini 7.9, Air 9.7, Pro 10.5, Kindle, Switch, Galaxy Tabs, More 4.7-11" Device - Black

Hit or miss with these, but this model is the STRONGEST I've had so far. The arm can really HOLD a tablet up without any sagging. It stays right where you put it! Too bad the metal inside will weaken with every adjustment. They tend to break right at the neck point where it goes into the sleeve at the base unit part at the clamp, which is likely where you will adjust it the most often. If you plan to set it up in a place where, once installed and adjusted in a permanent position you will be very very happy with it. I give it 5 STARS because its strength in holding a full size tablet is superior to every other one I’ve tried. I rarely need to adjust it, it has worked great and maintained that strength. I wish they would come out with one even better that won’t break at the neck from being adjusted. The common problem with these arms is that the metal inside simply cannot withstand the frequent adjustment. It will eventually weaken and break at the point of movement if you do t need to flex or move it a lot, this one will last you a long long time. Likes: I like the easy flexibility and adjustment of the neck to just about any position. I like the tight grip and secure hold of the tablet mount to device. It rotates easily and your device stays secure inside. I like the grip and secure hold of the mounting clamp to the surface. It holds perfectly to headboard or desk. I liked the neck strength to hold up a heavy 9" tablet without any sag. Amazing.

I bought this as a gift for a friend after seeing a review on the NY Times’ Wirecutter site. My friend loved it - in fact she loved it to death. After 4 or 5 months, it broke. The flexible arm came loose at the base so it could no longer be positioned. She loved it so much she was ready to buy another one. However, I looked up the manufacturer’s warrantee and saw that it was covered for a year. My friend contacted customer service and they shipped her a replacement within 24 hours.

Works great for my kindle. Barely able to hold up my iPad Air with no case. I do wish it was a little longer and sturdier, but then it would be too thick and impossible to bend. That’s just the natural limitation of this product. The clamp is big enough to fit on the back of my couch, coffee table, kitchen counter, and bed frame. I think the ones with multiple straight pieces that lock into place are probably sturdier and can hold a heavier load. Plus, they might not bounce like this one does. However, this one is easier to adjust because you don’t have to loosen and tighten the connections every time. There are definitely pros and cons to the two types.

The Lamicall Gooseneck Tablet Mount has been amazing for my wife — especially when she’s walking on the treadmill. It holds her tablet securely at the perfect height and angle, so she can easily read while getting her steps in. The gooseneck is sturdy but flexible enough to adjust exactly how she likes it, and the clamp grips firmly without damaging her tablet. Installation was quick and simple, and it stays put even with movement on the treadmill. If you want a hands-free way to use your tablet while exercising or just relaxing around the house, this mount is a fantastic, practical choice. Totally worth the money.

I ordered the tablet mount after using the Lamicall holder for my kindle for 2 years. I find this tablet mount to be less stable than I would like. I use it in my office to hold my 10th generation iPad but it begins drooping, as though it can’t handle the weight of the device. It is easy to install, it has a tight grip on my device so I don’t fear it falling, the height it very adjustable. My only concern is the inability to hold the weight of my device

I have an 8" tablet with a protective case and it fits perfectly. It gives it a strong hold while I scroll on the tablet. The neck of it holds it sturdy which makes it hard to adjust but it's because it's firm and heavy duty. Not flimsy or loose at all. It's easy to attach and adjust to your liking.

I had this next to my bed for my kindle and while it was difficult to open (be careful not to pinch yourself!) due to its grip strength, I left my kindle in it so I didn’t have to deal with that. Because of its location, the arm was repositioned nightly for me to read and then repositioned again to move it out of the way. Unfortunately it broke after less than two years and the base of the arm seems to be coming apart and it’s gone limp.

Bought this to hold my Kindle for bedtime reading. This is a very sturdy gooseneck, thick, bendable but just enough to define it as bendable. It's not going to sag when bent to the position you want. The photo shows the gooseneck curling around a couple of times, but I don't think it is that flexible unless you have a pipe to wind it around to get it to that shape. I wish it were 6 inches longer. I have trouble getting it positioned right in front of me. I haven't found the "perfect for me" clamping position on the bed or nightstand yet, but I still have positional options to try. The clamp for attaching to a table or bed is fantastic. The best I've seen for table clamps. You don't have to squeeze it to attach, or screw in something from the bottom that will damage your furniture. Simply loosen the wide handle at the clamp end, the clamp separates, place it where you want, then tighten the handle. The clamp to hold your tablet, phone, or reader is sturdy as well, but make sure you read the minimum height x width measurements as I was surprised my kindle would fit only long end-to-end but not side-to-side. No worries though because the clamp can rotate however you want and stays put. All in all I'm really satisfied with it all in all and highly recommend it.

I use this stand primarily for holding my Switch or Cell Phone while laying in bed. Gone are the days of sore elbows and poor circulation from holding the device in front of my face. Now I can have it in a very comfortable position, even closer to my face that make the screen look a little bigger/clearer and I can rest my arms in a comfortable position holding a full sized controller. I have used gooseneck devices in the past and was a little apprehensive because they never seemed to be able to support much weight, but this guy seems to do the job pretty well. It does shake if you touch it, so I wouldn't recommend this product if you are going to be touching the device it's holding a lot (comics/novels will probably need a 5 sec wait between page turns if you do). But if it's just to hold a screen than this is perfect. I bend this quite a bit, in the same spot, and so far it seems to be holding it's strength. The way the stand holds devices is really neat, it has rubber on the inside of the clamps and you open the clamps by pulling on a rope, that's connected to a sturdy part of the clamp, so you can put in and take out devices lots of times without fear of the plastic clamps breaking from grabbing them at the weaker edge constantly. Overall if you are playing any kind of handheld in the same spot in your home, this could really be a quality of life improvement.

Very nice product its also sturdy

Excelente calidad y funcionalidad.

The tablet holder is tough, I used it with my galaxy tab s8 wearing a silicone tablet cover. The grip on the tab is firm. No slips. Makes reading when in bed easy. Easy to maneuver. Feel free to buy. It's worth your money.

I have loved this product so far. When I start a book, I generally don't stop until its done. And if I have a book release, I take off thay day of work to read. I find it easy to use, I like it mostly when in landscape. Its really tough to move the arm into the shape you want but I feel that is how you want it to be anyways. I don't want it to easily move around. Just take it slow and you shouldn't have issues. I like to use this 90% of the time on my couch anyways. So you move the arm to suite that location and it'll not move again until you want it to. The clamp is very large and I haven't had a location yet that is hasnt fit. My nightstand, back of couch and even a chair. It also hasnot damaged any items it has been clipped too. It has protection from causing scratches, etc. This has been such an incredible gift to myself and I think has well paid for itself in chiropractic visits alone. I'm no longer in uncomfortable postitions, shifting constantly for hours. When I use this holder, along with a remote (sold seperately) I am unstoppable! My hands are at my sides and I can be fully reclined. You can see the page turning remote I have clipped to the kindle in my picture. There is also room to clip that remote on the right or left hand side as well.
