Shoreline Marine Paddling Half-Skirt

This is a very good half skirt for my Ibis Kayak. It keeps the water off my legs in the cooler weather nd allows easy escape in case of capsize.

decent half skirt for keeping water out of my kayak. only complaint is its a little cheap feeling and I don't think it will last. also I do have the same issue with it not staying up but its not that bad. its not meant to be water tight just to deflect a little bit of it and a nice spot to hold my phone and camera while out on the water.

Total waste of money. The plastic stay at the back edge isn't stiff enough so it flops down instead of keeping a tent shape. When the water splashes over the top it just funnels it all right into your lap.

The piece of plastic that is supposed to keep the skirt up so the water wicks away from the interior of the kayak has the opposite effect. It's not rigid at all and just sags effectively diverting any water right into your crotch. I'm working on modifying it with a bent metal rod, but as the product exists now, don;t buy unless you are willing to improve on the pretty poor design.

This is more like a 1/4 skirt than a 1/2 skirt and it has an issue with folding in instead of pushing up to keep the water out--if you use it as it comes, water will build up and fall into your lap. I'd give it more than 3 stars if I didn't have to fix it before being able to use it! This skirt is a neat summer play around skirt. I like that I can reach everything in the kayak and literally slide it forward and back to get in and out. I use it on hot days to keep my legs a little cooler. It has nice pockets to hold things but unless you fix the folding in issue, this only makes that problem worse. It's an easy fix if your handy with that sort of thing.

A little difficult to put on....hoping it will do job....overall nice.

Stay not strong enough to keep away from knees. Do not buy. I returned mine after just putting it on the boat
