Cost effective way to add protection to my diving tank
Tank boot is an effective way to add protection to my dive tank. Less worry that tank will roll around in back of the truck. A bit of a tight fit, but as someone else mentioned I soaked boot in hot water for a few minutes and it went right on with a few wacks from a rubber mallet.

The trick with these is to heat them up with hot water before you fit the tank. Did that and jams the tank on. It has not cracked. It was a 63 cu ft tank.

It’s a boot

Good hard tank boot
Would have given 5 stars if it had fit the tank easily. I tried and tried to push the tank into the boot without success. The material is hard and unyielding. However, I heated a pot of water on the stove, then dropped the boot in for about a minute, took it out and the tank slipped right in easily. When the boot cooled it shrunk down tight on the tank and I have no fear that it will come off.
