GUAIMI Cruise Control Throttle Assist Universal for Motorcycles with with 7/8" and 1" Diameter Bars

Ok this seems like fair construction and is cheap on price BUT it works excellent and fits great a seriously pleasant surprise, I’ve tried several of types of throttle locks but this is great! It comes with the extension piece that’s great it helped out big time! And seems like it will last a long time!

Please be careful with this product, I have read threw the reviews I was suckered into the product as I thought it would be a decent product for my bike. Upon receiving the product I opened it and noticed right away the flimsyness of the mounts along with the cheap thin sping. The spring does not have enough force to move the lever down releasing the grip is has on your throttle. Also only after minutes of using the product the spring broke and shot off releasing the tension on the throttle and causing loose objects near my hand. Finally the instructions are black and white, which is fine but the contrast is awful the print is hard to read and the images are impossible to decipher what you're looking at. I do not know if I received just an awful product out of thousands or if the reviews are done by bots. But proceed with caution when purchasing it, I would look around for something more promising. These type of products can be harmful to the rider so take your time :)

I've had these style of throttle locks on various motorcycles over the years. They are a cheaper alternative to adding cruise control on your bike, but still allow you to give your throttle hand a break. My only suggestion is to add thread lock to each screw or they'll eventually vibrate out.

I was a little frustrated at first. Mounting was not a problem. But sliding the rubber inner ring onto my new handgrips was very difficult. Then I recalled an electricians fix for a wire run through a tight chase and I got out the Dawn. Once I had it in place, the set screws became unnecessary. I may have to use them some day if tolerances change; but this type of cruise is all I needed on my 2007 V2K and now on my 2023 VN 900 Classic. They include several rings in the kit so I imagine that just about any size handlebar/grip can be accommodated. Installation was not a problem other than when I had to grease the skids. I'm a very satisfied customer.

On my particular bike (Victory Gunner) the switch housing is too wide even with the extender/spacer. That said, added an additional spacer and it works.....sort of. Is all plastic and flimsy so requires constant adjustment (each time used). Just because it "works" after install/adjustment just sitting still does not mean will work when riding with vibration of bike. If I know am going on a long ride, I will tighten just a touch over perfect when not running and does work (after setting on road have to give just a little extra roll on throttle to get it to stay/not roll off). Overall a 3....just not reliable

All an all great product and worked ok. Did not fit my bike properly to work flawlessly description stated my exact bike and said would fit but I had to add shims to clear button cluster on bars which made it not work to its full potential

I tried 2 different types of throttle lock. Both failed. This fit great . Easy to install. Works perfectly. I have it mounted on a Yamaha 1300 road master.
