Der-Franz Crema organic Coffee, whole bean, 1000 g

I love this coffee, it makes a beautifully smooth tasting beverage. I do drink it black so I don't know what it's like with milk or milk alternatives in it. Would highly recommend it

This coffee is smooth really good taste. You really have to figure out as with all coffee beans how much to use for say 4 cups. I used too many beans...but i would say that i used Hornig beans before this one and i must say that i prefer this coffee bean as you do not have to use as many beans as with Hornig. Hornig is £16 and this one is £12 which i am really pleased with. I have a little honey just wrapped around the spoon to taste a little sweetness. My husband said it is sweeter even without the honey. So overall this is a good coffee. The one thing i wished is that the closure of the top of the bag is not ideal. No little label for me to secure the bag and stick. But i will find a container to put Beans in i think as it is a big bag to store. Hard to know where in the kitchen.

I've never written about coffee before so here goes. I've been using standard Sainsbury's 500g coffee for quite some time but I started to notice ages ago that it was incredibly bitter and acidic. After a couple of cups in the morning it would just sit quite heavily in the stomach. The caffeine hit would wear off and leave me feeling groggy. I've tried some of the expensive Italian brands and they were also very acidic and bitter. They didn't seem worth the money. Having read recently about mass produced coffee and pesticide use I was determined to find an organic coffee. So, I end up buying Dr Franz Organic Creme and, boy, am I glad I did. What a pleasant cup of coffee it makes, either in cafetiere or as cappuccino or espresso. Smooth, tasty, full bodied, doesn't taste bitter or acidic. I don't get the same crash in the afternoon from drinking this. What's more, Dr Franz is brilliantly priced for what you get, and I definitely will be back for more.

Bien sûr les puristes qui achètent leur café à des prix exorbitants vous diront que celui-ci n'est pas bon mais si vous avez l'habitude d'en acheter en supermarché à des prix raisonnables (10 - 20€/kg) le Der-Franz Crema bio tient très bien la comparaison et offre un gout assez intéressant pour cette gamme de prix.

Un café intéressant, pas beaucoup d'amertume par contre assez acide pour ma part avec une odeur terreuse agréable.
