Update
Looks amazing on HYTE Y60

Adhesive pads suck, otherwise great.
These strips look far nicer than the usual LED strips, the length is pretty good, although part of the second one had to be hidden as there was nowhere else for it to go. My one gripe with these is the adhesive pads, they were pretty much useless, falling off within 5 minutes, I had to resort to gorilla tape to stick the strip to the top of my case, other than that they look great and are easy to install.

Fault on arrival but good product
Item looked good however arrived with only 50% of the strip working. 3 stars as defective if working does as advertised.

Impressed by this despite the odd small flaw
Despite insisting I'd never go down the RGB route I wanted to add some lighting to my system after upgrading the case and most of the hardware so ended up with this. Some suggest the difficulty of installing this is complicated but for me it went pretty well. To start with, the sticky pads.....don't even let them or the surfaces you intend to stick them to touch your fingers. No matter how clean they are they will spoil its effectiveness straight away. Clean both surfaces, the back of the brackets and the surface you intend to mount, with Iso alcohol to remove invisible traces of dust and dirt and they will stick. Failing that a backup of No More Nails pads cut up will 100% work. 3M is almost enough but it's not the same as 3M which is used to mount dashcams to windscreens. (Update: I bought a second shorter one to add and the pads weren't as effective. Had to use No More Nails!). Other than that it's frustrating that the brackets don't fit within the profile of a fan, that is to say they stick out from the edge so if you have little or no clearance around fans then screwing them on isn't an option. Sticking them on worked however I don't know how long they will last in the summer when the glue will melt I suspect. The strip was easy enough to manoeuvre and took an hour to fit. That was including time it took to swap over a SATA connector though and moderate cable tidying so was no big deal. Installed the colours are more vibrant than I could have ever expected. It looks very similar to neon. Almost too bright at times and with some colours they need to be adjusted to be darker to change alter that characteristic. Animation of moving patterns is fantastic but I got this mainly just to light things up inside with the odd session of music with included light show! I didn't have the issue some mention of the light being dim when used in a chain. Mine is plugged into a SATA powered hub though which might be the difference. Overall worth the money for the difference it's made, close to 5 stars but sadly falls short.

Blue light dies after 6/7 months of use
Amazing lights when you first get them, but after 6/7 months of use, the blue light dies and the white becomes this horrid yellow. Have had two units of this die within this time frame. Phanteks require you to send the product back to them for a replacement instead of just sending you one out which is rather an annoying hassle considering they make a faulty product. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any alternatives right now if you want a 1 metre strip in this style.

Poor LED quality
LEDs burnout and change colour very quickly. Cool white colour has turned to a dirty yellow. Now on the third set...

After year silicon white is now yellow-green.
After year in my case the siicone strip the RGB lights are in has turned a bit of yellow green colour when full white is selected. Not a huge problem if you go for a rainbow patten, but something to be aware of. Photo is with all of the RGB set to a pure white (also my case needs a dust). Not raised this with phanteks as I can't be bothered to redo the cabling and I can correct for the colours mostly.

I don't know why I bought this... but I did, and I'm glad I did. Useless silly lights to go inside your expensive toy. Does what it says on the packet, looks like it does in the pictures. My girlfriend saw my previously non-epilepsy inducing computer and thinks I'm a cool hacker genius now. If you're looking at it, you already know you want it. Just treat yourself, you giant baby.

First, here’s an important fact that I couldn’t find here or anywhere else online: Yes, these can be cut to a smaller size. (If you’re not sure how to cut LED strips like this, Google or search YouTube for “How to cut ws2812b LED strips.)” It’s easy. I used a normal pair of scissors and it took less than 3 minutes. I’m very happy with the result. They’re easy to work with and I was quickly able to adjust the LEDs with the Asus Aura Sync app. The strips allow for very precise color adjustments. Only complaint: I wish they included more of the mounting clips, especially the straight one. That said, these are the best looking light strips I’ve ever used, and they look great with very little work. I highly recommend them.

Pros: - Very good quality - Lights are bright and look great - Emulates neon lights very well Cons: - Bending and setting the lights into place is a huge pain, lights only want to bend side to side - Daisy Chaining 2 of the 1 Meter lights will result in the 2nd strip not lighting all the way - Adhesive is not great The hardest part of this was twisting the light strip and getting it to stay in place. Especially the areas where the light didn't want to bend, but I forced it by twisting it into the corner and letting the pressure of the bend prop itself up. It won't damage the light as it's flexible but it will fight you. I drilled holes into some of the plastic brackets and screwed them into the tracks where you put your fans at the top of the case. This way I know the brackets won't fall and neither will the lights. I purchased high quality double sided tape separately as others stated the provided sticky pads were no good. I did also cut some plastic brackets to make them shorter/more narrow to get them to fit into small flat areas to help keep the strip light perfectly straight, otherwise the rope will look wavy. Double-sided tape is your friend! There were a few instances where I needed the light propped up or a bit of pressure to straighten it out. I just rolled some tape into a ball or pad and used it accordingly. It's hard to see unless you're looking for it. Make sure to take out any slack and pull the lights taught to ensure they're nice and straight. All in all I'm happy with the final result. Will probably add something else to make the CPU cooler stand out a bit more. **For reference, I used 2x 1 meter strips and 1x 550mm strip. Each one is plugged into it's own JRGB port in the motherboard. I didn't daisy-chain because it would have added a larger gap to the connected strips along the bottom of the case.
