Well made easy grip knitting needles.
These Prym Circular styled needles have become my favorite knitting needles. They are lightweight, the points are tapered so it is easy to move stitches and ergonomic grip makes for easy movement and less stress on hands and wrists. The needles are excellent quality and Iโve had my smaller sized ones for three years now and have been very pleased. This is my fourth pair, so now have, 4, 5, 6, and 7.

Great at first...
These needles are amazing at first. The way the stitches glide over them, the flexible cables, the comfortable shape, and the way the tips make it hard to split your yarn make these needles top tier. And even though they are plastic needles, they don't squeak with acrylic yarn! But..... they are not very durable. I'm on my 2nd project and the smoothness of the needles is gone. Completely worn off. I have to put in twice the effort to move stitches from one needle to the other. They're still nice, but you'll probably only want to use them on more slippery yarns after a while.

Prym Circular, just what I've been looking for.
I've been knitting for 45 years. Way back in the beginning I invested in Susan Bates all Nylon circular needles in as many sizes as I could find because they were so comfortable to me. They were 100% nylon, not just the cord but the needles too. Unfortunately they are no longer made. One of my most used sizes is 7. Finally my Nylon size 7 has developed a frayed area where the cord meets a needle. So for a couple years I've been unsuccessfully searching for a replacement size 7 that works for me (tried metal round and square needles, bamboo, plastic and wood). Recently I started a project needing size 7 and have gone through all of my reject 7s that were hurting my 73 year old hands. I thought I'd look on Amazon and see what might work. I believe I've found what I needed in the Prym Circular. Warm to my hands, has a slight give, points are not too sharp to hurt my fingers while knitting, wonderful cord that doesn't curl, stitches slide easily enough. I just now bought an additional size 7, when you find what works you need more than one. If you're trying to replace an old Susan Bates Nylon, give these a try.

Great for beginners but cord snags
This Prym knitting needle did help me learn to knit. I'm a crocheter who learned to knit so moving the yarn from one needle to the other was difficult. The tips of these absolutely helped me figure out the movements. The major downfall is that the cord snags my yarn. I bought a second one thinking maybe the first was defective, but it happened again. All in all, these are great for beginners, but if you know how to knit, these will probably just be frustrating.
