Yes the gtx 1660 super will fit a MSI 970 gaming motherboard. Please ensure you use the top PCIE slot as that would give greater performance. Modern GPUs all use the same connection. Just ensure your Power supply has a 8 pin power connector and is a minimum of 450 W to power this GPU (550W or upwards would be recommended)
