The compas works
compass is a suitable replacement for the original compass that was in the base of my combat knife. It also is accurate.

Awful
The ball inside gets stuck when you don't hold the compass perfectly, feels very poorly made. I would not trust this in any situation where you might want a compass.

Fun, small gadget that works
It's attractive - my kids all wanted it when I showed it to them, but I like it too much to give it away. It's small - fits in a pocket without creating much bulk. It works - probably not a high precision instrument, but points north reliably and is good enough for general direction-finding. I have not had it long enough to evaluate how it holds up over time (could upgrade my review to 5 stars if it does well), but for the cost, it seems to be a good value.

Great keychain
This keychain is functional and a great size to fit in your pocket without taking up too much room. Exactly what I was looking for

Not a "true" compass, but works for my purpose
I gave it 3 stars only because most people looking for a compass will not be satisfied with this very inexpensive version. It only works properly if you hold it in your hand and gently shake it so it becomes un-stuck. For me it is a 5 star item as I use it in my car as a decoration more than for directional navigation.

It’s just the right size and works like it should. Occasional sticking can always be fixed with a good shake.

Broke within weeks
I bought this keychain compass thinking it'd be great to help me when I got turned around. When I got it, it often got stuck and wouldn't point the right direction. In addition, within about 2-3 weeks, it broke from the keychain and spilled whatever nasty chemicals are inside all over me.

für das kleine geld nicht schlecht
ein funktionierender kompass, der laut meinem freund zur not den weg durch die mongolei weist. bei mir weicht er im vergleich zum teuren präzisionsgerät immer ein paar grad ab. (allerdings immer in die gleiche richtung) fazit: es funktioniert

Good. I think there isn't enough room for the compass to move freely. Produces wrong result sometimes

War gleich kaputt
eigentlich ein super Teil, aber nach wenigen Tagen am Schlüsselbund (wofür er ja doch auch gedacht ist) hat sich die Halterung von der Kugel gelöst und ist nun nicht mehr verwendbar. Aufgrund des geringen Preises auch nicht reklamiert, weil hier der Aufwand zu groß gewesen wäre.
