This is a must have for a small CNC router or router sled. Works as expected.

I surfaced a 24" by 30" slab of oak with this bit and a forty year old Craftsman router. It did the job with no problem with fantastic results. Yes the bit is bit short because it's a 1/4" shank but I knew that going in and when I made my surfacing jig table I compensated for that. Within a couple of minutes of my learning curve I was amazed by the results. I bought two bits just in case but the first one is still sharp. I only took off maybe an eight of an inch every time and let the router do the work without forcing it too hard. Very happy with the performance. Very happy with the purchase!

It works verry well for a cheap bit, my only real complaint is dulls out quickly and leaves burn marks verry easily little to easy. But in camparison to the high end bits and their price its verry cost effective and works for couple projects

Made paining much quicker with my cnc for wood. Pretty clean just minor sanding if want perfect. They put bubble wrap in container to protect bit when stored away

Perfect for my task and I can truly attest to the durability now. I had to reduce the thickness of some pine planks to fit for a project. Instead of spending a lot on an electric pass-through planer, I tried this surfacing router bit. I set the depth on my router to 3/16" and went over my boards twice to reduce their thickness by 3/8" inches. These were 8x 5 foot planks and each one needed about 10 passes to complete. My router is cordless and I had a battery cycle running laps through 4 batteries but I got through the task and this sturdy little bit held up and was still making clean cuts. I literally put about 40 sq ft of wear and tear on this bit over the 3 days it took to finish.

They are so many spoil-board cutters out here where majority claim to have the best with their features. Give real CNC operators it's only a cutter, you're not making license plates. Buy cheapest to do the job, if breaks not much loss, but break a $70. bit that's going sting.

I am a hobbyist woodworker operating from garage. I do not have a jointer and planer since these are expensive tools. I saw a you tube video on making a simple jig and with the use of a router and this surfacing bit, I was able to plane the surface for my projects. So far so good and happy to recommend this bit to others.
