Outdoor Clay Chiminea Fire Pit (Stone Gray)

I've only had occasion to use this chiminea a handful of times since purchasing it a month ago but I love it. It's beautiful and really well made. It also burns the wood (pinyon wood chunks) really well emitting a lot of heat and a beautiful smell. A couple of wood chunks will last 2 to 3 hours, perfect amount of time for sitting around a warm, cozy smelling fire.

This was a huge disappointment. On the first use , the clay cracked in several places and when the clay heated up it emitted a toxic smell, like paint burning. The finish burned off and there were drip marks so I suspect it was the finish melting and becoming volatile as the clay heated up and turned from grey to clay colored. Now I have to go through the hassle of getting it back in the box and returning it . I'd like to upload photos but I don't see that they provide a way to do it for this review.

Fantastic little chiminea. It is the perfect size for our small little patio. Seems solid.

I ordered this and did not use it for several months. It was much smaller than described and it was not the color as described. (it was an orangish/rust color not grey) The first time I used it the sides cracked- see pictures. Very disappointed. And of course the window for return or problem solving is closed.

Product is cracked. Still want chiminea but without crack. Please replace. How would you like to get this one back

Perfect size! Sturdy if handled with care and seasoned properly. Decent heat throw. Carving details could be more pronounced for my taste, but not a deal breaker. Great for smaller spaces.

Cute little chimney that is easily placed where you want it. Easy cleanup and can be stored anywhere.

This product is absolute garbage especially for $150. We only used it once and within 5 minutes of starting the fire with just sticks it cracked in about 4 different places and changed color instantly. The cracks aren’t just small cracks either. I’m hoping the seller does right and refunds my money but do yourself a favor and do NOT even waste your time or money ordering it unless you don’t ever plan on having even the smallest fire in this piece of garbage.
