Incredible and no need for alot of makeup or bleach
I bought the Medium Brown version. I recommend Medium Brown for those who are Oprah brown. If you are Simone Biles brown, I recommend medium dark brown or dark brown; most likely medium dark brown just depending on your undertone- if you have a red or yellow tone. If you are Viola Davis brown, I recommend Cool Deep or maybe even dark brown. If your complexion is similar to Alek Wek, use Darkest brown or maybe cool deep. Please do your due diligence and don't just take my word for it. Consider the undertone of your skin before making a final decision. Whichever color you choose, do not choose a shade that is lighter than your complexion because it will defeat the purpose of using a lace tint. The purpose of this product is to make the front of the lace look like it is a part of you. This is my first time purchasing this type of product. I usually don't take lace wigs seriously just for the fact that I thought I was required to put a crap load of makeup on the cap to conceal the lace plus a whole lot of other work that I could not commit to. This product is perfect and it has a very nice perfume smell for the wig as well. I didn't need to bleach the lace either. I turned the wig inside out and sprayed the hairline and the width of the lace so that I could part any way that I wanted. If your lace is a 4x4, for example, only spray the 4x4. Try not to spray the product through the lace to prevent staining the strands of hair. It will be visible if you do, and it'll look like you're growing dull and dirty brown hair from your roots. Imagine a bad or old hair dye job and there's a 1-inch section of new growth coming from your scalp. This is what you will look like if you spray too much of this product and it goes through the lace. AVOID AT ALL COSTS by spraying lightly. Use an old towel to spray over because this is paint, and you don't want to make a mess. You will have to let the product dry before installing the wig. In my case, I had to rush out of the house and learned 30 minutes was not enough time for the tint to dry so I used a blow dryer, and it worked fine. The result: The knots were undetectable, and the lace looked like my scalp! I used a brown stocking cap (DO NOT USE BEIGE IF YOU ARE BLACK). Using a brown stocking cap will give your scalp a natural look. You won't need much concealer, if any. Install: I installed the wig by 1) tracing the hairline with wig glue in a line that is similar to the outline of your hairline (do not create a straight line)- allow it to slightly dry (the glue should be half clear/white and half blue). 2) I then put on the stocking cap. If the cap is not secure on the front, I dab another layer of glue over the very front of the wig cap, along my hairline; smooth it out, and allow to dry. 3) Afterwards, I trim the front of the wig cap off using an eyebrow razor- being sure to not cut a perfect line but a line that matches the outline of my hairline. Also, cut in FRONT of the hair line. Not on the hair line. The glue should be slightly in front of the hairline, not on the hair line. 4) After the glue is clear, put the wig on and the lace should melt perfectly and match your skin. Use the blow dryer on cool for extra security. For me, I like my lace slightly darker than my forehead- similar to contouring your face. It helps to add a definition. I use a mildly darker foundation and lightly brush a tiny amount at the front of my hairline and the lace near where I part so that I will look 100% natural. My current installation has been in for 4 days. I only had to add a drop of glue on the sides but the front and my middle part look A1 still. I do want to point out that because this will help your wig look natural, it will be evident when your wig starts to slip back, and if you install your wig correctly by following these steps, you'll be able to see your edges in front of the lace when this happens LOL and so can others. You'll be able to feel it too. However, it is an easy fix. If your wig slips back from sleeping, for example, gently pull the wig forward and you're good to go. Find a spot in the front that may not as secure and move the wig back to its original place. How long did the product last? I washed the front of my wig and removed the glue. In doing so, I believe a little bit of the tint came off but it was not enough for me to have to reapply the product. However, I am sure that after I do a full wash on the wig, I will have to reapply a new layer. PS. I borrowed the wig install tip from someone and since it has worked for me, I want to share it with you took. Protect your edges girls.

Small bottle, not much produc
I have 5 to 8 wigs that are brand new but I cannot wear because the lace is too dark and it is obvious in the front and sides. I started with my favorite which is a bit of a test: it’s a natural (light) red full lace wig with what I assume is mocha lace. There are no clips or any fabric besides lace and hair. There are certain tanning and sunscreen products I’ve used before, such as the old school Sally Hanson “stocking” leg spray, in which the aerosol comes out in a continuous spray in a way that makes it easy to save product and get an even coat. This is not squirt, squirt, squirt, but it’s also not flowing like I would prefer, especially for such a small amount. My bottle also makes an annoying whining noise, like a deep voiced mosquito but I doubt they all do that. It is scary when I get to the most important part: the hairline. There being no information anywhere about how to remove this product from synthetic or natural hair (a q-tip and baby oil? Make up remover? Oil or water based? Do I need alcohol? Shampoo) anywhere on Amazon or with the product itself and what I was afraid of when I saw the size of the bottle is happening: you need more product to lighten lace than you do to darken it. I have no idea how the older white lady gets such a huge result with hers but I’m not getting it. Maybe she’s not afraid to use too much. I have covered the font half of the insideof this lace. It is uneven amd although it says to shake or wipe up excess product, how will I know if I put too much on places or not enough on others. So for now the wig is sitting insude out drying on my canvas head, waiting to dry. I am worried about the rain outside and was going to cover it with Got2B before I remembered that is not water proof. I have no idea if this is or if I will walk into work looking like a beige Rudy Giuliani. Wish me luck….. All that being said, even if it only covers two wigs until wash day (every month or so), I think it’s worth it. I paid altogether over $1k for these wigs so if, with or without the scar tape I also purchased, it somehow transforms them, even if it takes trial, error, and sunshine, into wigs I can wear with confidence, stopping me from having ro pay those ridiculous white lady wig prices, it is well beyond worth it. That being said, I wish there was a FAQ and instructional video for those trying to lighten a wig or at least an estimates dry time. Well, I’ll take a pic of what it looks like now, perhaps 20 to 30 minutes after spraying and you can judge for yourself. (I am noticing i should not just have put it down and walked away as it looks kind of tie dye. That part is still wet and came off on my hand somewhat as you can see. Sigh. I’m realizing to use it like nail polish: small amount, dry, next coat, etc. Also I probably should have very gently patted dry with paper towel on saturated bits. And yes, the bangs are a bit light but that seems to come right off. This bodes well for the look indoors but not for the rain)

Perfect match
I love this tint spray, sometimes to get the closest color to my scalp I'll mix shades to get the perfect look. I continue to purchase.

Best for those of dark complexion
It does the job well especially for those of a darker complexion who are skeptical about if the 'darkest brown' tint is too extreme for your lace. It isn't.

Boo
I am usually a huge fan of this brand and have been using them for yours. Attempted to try the deeper brown because I tanned A LOT this past summer so the previous ordered color doesn’t work. Beyond disappointed when the spray color came out a dark grey even after vigorous shaking of the can! If you zoom in you can see how bad it is in comparison to my skin tone. Full blown colored my lace incorrectly and made me insecure wearing my wig. I ended up throwing on a headband and working on figuring out the lace color since this was an epic fail. Would not recommend

Half empty
OK product but way too small, I hardly had enough to cover just ONE 13x4 lace, £14 for only one use is a lot of money. No happy whatsoever 😕
