GORILLA GRIP® Slip Resistant Rug Pads for Hardwood Floor, 5x7 Cream

My large bathroom rug kept slipping. I tried rug grippers in the corners but because the rug is rubber-backed they wouldn’t stick. After researching I thought I’d try the Gorilla Grip Slip Resistant Rug Pad. It works extremely well. My rug now stays in place. I am truly happy and highly recommend these pads for rugs with a rubber backing.

Amazing! My 5x7 cotton rug (no backing) has stayed perfectly in place even with heavy foot traffic. The Gorilla Grip pad was easy to trim & is lightweight which made it easy to work worth. This is the product you’ve been looking for..buy it!

Works as expected. It was a bit narrower than I expected. Rug doesn't slip on floor but it doesn't hold on to the rug as well as I thought it would. I have to adjust the rug over it often. That's why I gave it a 4 star review. I am considering sewing it to the rug itself.

I am so happy with these rug grippers by Gorilla Grip! To ensure both the rug gripper and rug remain in place, below are a few tips, which -- by trial and error -- worked perfectly for us. I have several thick throw rugs in my various bathrooms, each with a so-called non-skid rubber-like coating on the bottom, all of which never stayed in place. I lost count of the number of times I purchased similar rug grippers to this one (but never before by Gorilla Grip) -- from Bed, Bath & Beyond, Walmart, etc. Frustratingly, NONE held the rugs or the grippers in place, i.e., not only would the rug still move, but then the (other brand) grippers would "sneak out" beyond the border of the rug and look "tacky". These rug grippers were delivered on 10/26/2024, and we put them in place that day. Today is 12/30/2024, and they have not budged even a half inch after experimenting with different options and finding a solution that worked. TIPS: 1) We cut each rug gripper in a rectangle shape to almost exactly ONE INCH from the edge all around each rug (you will need that small uncovered border near the edge of each rug not protected by the gripper pad for this solution to work). 2) We first tried professional-grade MASKING TAPE. It did not stick at all to the non-stick rug bottom and it popped right off. Then we tried ProTape's professional PAINTER'S TAPE. That also did not adhere the non-stick rug bottom, and it, too, popped right off. 3) On our third try, we added a continuous strip of GORILLA TAPE (Mini Duct Tape To-Go, 1" x 10 yd Travel Size), not their two-sided tape (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001E5ZWT4/). We placed the MIDDLE of the Gorilla Tape over the rug gripper so that one-half inch of it covered the UNCOVERED border of the rug bottom, and the other half-inch was OVER the rug gripper. 4) We are using the pet tool of a Black & Decker hand-vac to vacuum each rug on a weekly basis (if the rugs are visibly dirty and need to be washed, you likely will need to remove the Gorilla tape and rug gripper and see if the tape adheres after the rug is fully dry). One, I cannot say what the success rate would be if we did not take the extra step of using the Gorilla Tape. Two, I have never purchased woven/cotton rugs, such as those with fringed edges, so I don't know if our solution will work with them . Thus far, however, I am more than pleased that my rugs are not slipping and sliding, and that the rug grippers do not show beyond the edges of the rugs. I highly recommend this product.

Great quality grip that keeps the rug from sliding, my daughters play area has a couch on the other side of the baby fence making it easy for her rug and foam couch to slide over and push the rug up BUT since getting this it hasn't happened. Thank god too because i was getting annoyed haha. Overall great product for a reasonable price, it's durable and thick. Covers anything all you have to do is cut it any shape you need and no odor. 10/10 very durable as well (

I ordered a 5x7 rug pad but the cut was not correct so I had to personally cut the pad myself to fit the 5x7 rug. The grip is good but it’s not a pad I would purchase if I wanted cushion.

Exactly what I needed for my rug to stop sliding!!! I ordered 2. One for my front door mat and 1 for my living rug. HIGHLY RECOMMEND….

i was a bit reluctant but it works for my needs and well. i give very few things 5 stars i bought this for my wooden outdoor sofa cushions, a sofa i use indoors. my cushions mostly dont slip now, perhaps a tiny bit that isnt unexpected. going to buy some for bed frame

This is my 3rd attempt to find something to stop my rug moving on the hard floor. Tried tape and other rug grips. This is perfect, adds extra cushion, doesn't ride up under the rug and most certainly stops the rug moving.

This was just what I needed to hold down the rug at my front door. Works like it should. Highly recommend it. The delivery was great and on time.
